"Yeah, people mostly leave him alone," Murphy said with a shrug. "Unless they're people he actually wants to talk to. He's made a few friends. An odd assortment, but still."
If you made friends in Madison Valley, you tended to automatically end up with a random assortment by default. Kind of hard not to when the place was as varied as it was.
