This place was weird. Being trapped in a human town, surrounded by folks who had been plucked from their worlds too, and stuck under a magic dome was all kinds of odd. Still the demon Belphegor wasn't really worried. Oh he knew he should be out there right now; examining the barrier to see if he could at least open enough of a little rift for him to escape, yet really that all sounded exhausting. So instead he had wandered into the casino and pulled up a seat at the bar. Between the colorful lights, the drinks that the bartender kept coming by with, and the fact that he was surrounded by folks content to literally just sit there and waste their time...Bel was in heaven. Well not really Heaven, but this wasn't Hell.
Sure he missed Hell a bit. But he had taken his shot at the throne and ended up almost getting killed by an overly emotional angel. So being stuck here wasn't bad by any means. Since he was officially off the clock, and had nothing but time to kill, the demon yawned a tad as he turned his eyeless gaze to the humans. Watching with a smirk as they all sat there in front of those slot machines. Looking on with interest as the mortals continued to spend their precious time and currency trying to win at games that rarely paid out. Just the fact that they all so willingly kept themselves here amused Bel to no end, and when he spotted a human run out of coins he headed over and dumped five dollars worth of quarters into their empty cup with a smile...before heading back over to his seat at the bar, to watch them gleefully continue to play again.
