This place felt like it was sucking the soul right out of Penelope way more than back in Mystic Falls. At least back at that school, she could always find some fun or trouble to get into, but here this place was so dull! This Rowan girl was super boring as well with some really horrible taste. Though she found some of the people around here to be rather fun, and it made this whole stuck situation a little more on the bearable side of things. Madison wasn’t ever going to be on her list of places to be stuck, but she knew how to make the best of a horrible situation or try her hardest.
On the plus side, this place had some clubs and bars, making it a little manageable on that end. Who cared if she was underage? There was no way Penelope was going to be turned away, especially on Saint Patrick’s day, planning to have a little fun this evening. Dressed up in some green, she headed to Verdant and with no big surprise, she found herself able to get into the place. Maybe magic helped a bit, but she was never going to tell! The place was popping and it was better than rotting away from boredom. After dancing with a few different people, losing track of who they were since she really didn’t care.
Penelope headed over to the bar, debating on her drink choices, knowing she couldn’t dwell for too long or someone might question her age. Easier to slip a bit under the radar on holidays or if using someone older, but Penelope was trying to sneak under the radar. “So many options, so little time,” she said aloud to herself with no real care who may or may not have heard her. The quicker she had a drink, the quicker she could be back on the dance floor. Ordering herself a green beer to go along with the holiday, she leaned against the counter, looking out at the floor as she studied the people.
