"At least that is one thing in my favor," Hope replied, taking the offered hand and shaking it before offering up her own name. Hope had only been the new girl once back home, but once was enough for her to know it was not her favorite feeling or status. Unfortunately, this place did not end up giving her much of a choice in the matter either. "I'm Hope Mikaelson. It's nice to meet you, Brooke." She released the other girl's hand.
"I'm sure I'll eventually get the hang of it. And if more people show up, I won't be so new anymore or whatever." Which Hope would like...a lot. Then again, she would always be new to someone with the way it seemed people came and went around here without warning. It was another thing she didn't like about Madison Valley. Another thing she couldn't do anything about either. "It's not bad. I'm use to small towns sort of so it's not hard to adapt from that aspect. I'm just not too sure about public school."
