He kind of wanted to go, though, and see how Maria was going, but that was awkward. She was a friend with benefits that he might have more feelings for than he should. And he was pretty sure she was in love with someone else, which made things even more awkward, when it came down to it.

"Maybe binge some netflix. Every person's dream, and I right?"

Yeah, there was definitely some sarcasm in there.
