What: Dinner rush at The Electric Lady
When: Tuesday evening
Where: The Electric Lady
Rating: Low, TBD
Elliott couldn't believe that he had been in Madison Valley for two weeks. Obviously time flew when you weren't having to play pet gay (ugh) mediator between two catty ladies who still fought like they were in high school. Elliott continued to stand by what he said at the diner, to figure their nonsense out, which apparently they hadn't taken to heart, even after Pamela Lansbury was disbanded and reborn as One Three Hill.
Granted he enjoyed a little gossip, knowing it was good for the soul. But, unnecessary high school drama like what Rachel and Santana had been playing at struck a chord with him. Elliott remembered none too fondly being pretty much the only guy at Paramus High who was not only out of the closet, but redesigning it to more efficiently hold all of his shoes. Along with already feeling like a social pariah and dealing with the nonexistent dating pool (the first chair trumpet player in the marching band was painfully unawares of his own sexuality, much less that Elliott even existed), Elliott had to put up with petty hatred from the majority of his straight male classmates due to the fact that their girlfriends and crushes confided in him about everything, yes everything. It was absolutely terrifying, and some of it even scarring, the things he had heard. Honestly, if those guys had just simply been more open and caring, none of that crap would've happened.
Luckily, the dinner rush on a Tuesday wasn't rife with Paramus High gossip (yes, he had heard from multiple sources about the Biology teacher sleeping one of her eighth grade students) or really any gossip, the music was simply too loud for it. Having dropped a load of dirty dishes to the back area, he was spraying and wiping down a newly available table, making sure the lids on the salt and pepper shakers were actually screwed on tight this time. Darn kids. Always with the mischief.
