She wasn't sure if it was a dream, or if the plane had crashed and now she was dead. Because one minute Kendal had been in the plane, Alby sitting beside her in the cockpit as the dry ground flowed past below them, and the next she was shivering in a park and someone was trying to talk to her. She pretty much ignored the man as she took in the fact that the trees had leaves, and there was snow on the ground. Real snow, that she hadn't seen in over ten years.
It was the sound of running water that really caught her attention, and she wandered away from the man to stare over the railing at the river, and actual river. Yes, it was dark, and she couldn't see much of it, but it was wide and moving and had ice floating on it. She barely registered the man shoving a package at her before walking off, not that she cared.
There was snow. And water.
