She liked that he just went with her questions. He was always really considerate to never dismiss them just because they were dumb or unusual. Just the fact that he wanted to make a fish was really great and Ariel reached over to give him a quick, impulsive hug. He was easily her best friend here and she wasn't ever going to take him for granted.
"Do you think we could make a mermaid? We might have to kind of carve it into the snow, like we do with sand? But it might work! We could do my dad! He looks like Santa! He's got a big white beard. We would totally make a Santa/Daddy hybrid!" She was finally actually really excited about something, so much so that she dug her hands into the snow to start smushing a bunch of it together in what she thought was the best way to build a pile to sculpt out of.
