Mia was definitely one of those 'against better judgement' friends and she was okay with that. Maybe she shouldn't be, but when she was ready for personal growth, she'd deal with it. Right now, she just wanted to figure out what to do with her life because Madison Valley was so different from what she was used to most recently.
"See, I tend to stick with the philosophy that I'm a gift, so I don't worry about that too much," she joked. She definitely didn't think that much of herself, but he seemed to appreciate her sense of humor so Mia was going to roll with it.
"Mia," she added, introducing herself formally. "This whole town is boring, so." She shrugged. "Can't be any worse than everyone else. Though the real deal breaker? How are you with crossword puzzles?" Mia only asked because it was top of mind, being something that she did semi-regularly with Clark. Maybe Matt would be more receptive to her flirting.
