There was no stopping the smile at the all too recently surprising act from the blond. He seemed more comfortable making such physical displays of his affection in public than Grantaire himself was able to, and yet to be on the receiving end was not something he minded in the slightest. Not on a night like this one, anyway.
"So it is, I had forgotten." It seemed like no time had passed since the last one. He didn't even know what he might paint. Or if he would be joining in again. It had been relatively simple to prepare for the last time.
"I miss them too. They are a different sort of light, and I prefer the shadows they cast. But I think these days people worry about safety and things a lot more." Too much, perhaps.
