Tucker & Wash
It wasn't a date. It was just an outing. With a friend.
Just because Tucker had bought them some hot chocolate, had adjusted Wash's scarf at least seven times to keep the back of his neck covered, and was low-key holding Wash's hand on and off, it was not a date.
He could already hear Church mocking him for everything later. Or Quill. Or both. Both were certainly a possibility. At least he didn't have to hear York applauding him for stepping out of his comfort zone. Tucker wasn't sure he even had a comfort zone, or he did and it had already been broken and stepped on.
"I'm just putting it out there right now that your hot chocolate is way better."
