After Cass had suggested Cole stop by her office, she'd provided his information at the front desk and arranged for him to have a guest pass, accessing primarily her office and the meeting rooms. With that set, she'd gone about her day and didn't expect that he'd be by for a while because they were both still sour about how things had been left. They didn't have to be part of each other's lives here, even if she didn't want that to be the case. As mad as she was, Cole was a reminder of her life and he'd changed her irrevocably. Whether it was for better or worse, she wasn't sure. Maybe they'd actually get to breathe in Madison Valley, to really actually get to know one another instead of constantly being under threat of the virus and the 12 Monkeys.
After the first week, she mostly forgot about it. If he didn't want to come by and help her, then fine. She'd do it herself. Cass just focused on her job, forgot to revoke his visitor pass, and got back to setting herself up for success in Madison Valley. That meant attending to her classes and being ready for any possible emergency that came her way. One such emergency rushed into her office in the afternoon courtesy of York and Carolina. It wasn't surprising to see them at Combat Therapy, or even in her office, but it was surprising that they were fairly badly injured. It looked like a broken bone and a dislocated shoulder at least, if not more, so she was in full on Doctor Mode as she got them settled and started looking them over.
She was so engrossed in her work that when she heard someone enter her office, she simply called, "Unless you're dying, you're going to have to wait."
