Comment Posted Successfully He loved fall, it was a great season, cozy and perfect for snuggling up with a good book. His enjoyable book had been put aside though, at news of a birthday party for those with November birthdays. It seemed a good excuse for him to mingle with the others, maybe make some new friends.
He donned a suit and went out into the Old Market, helping himself to a lightly spiced pumpkin soup and a crusty bread roll. It seemed that he was early, but that was alright, he had his phone, and his phone held a copy of Dorian Gray, which meant he was quite entertained until someone else turned up. He'd read it before, of course, but he always felt a comfort in reading anything by Wilde, something which made him feel warm, as though he were in the parlor of an old friend.
Imagine if he were to bump into the real Dorian Gray, he thought to himself, whimsically. From little bits he had picked up over the last couple of weeks it was not completely out of the question, given how Madison Valley operated.
