Title: It's The Principal of the Thing Author: Rosy Rated: PG Notes: A great many thanks to McKay, who let me steal build on her already fun concept. XD If Severus and Remus both played World of Warcraft, and if they were both level 80... and if they were both doing Argent Tournament Dailies... I think this would happen. (Don't worry if you don't understand a THING I just said... just enjoy.)
"ARRRRGH!"
Severus sighed and waited. He knew what was coming. He was so certain that he was already bookmarking the page he was currently perusing for later study and spun his computer chair around.
Remus was bent over his own desk, his hair a wild tangle from where he had been pulling at it in aggravation. His computer screen was alight with brightly colored figures, the music piping through the speakers quiet enough not to be distracting. Severus knew exactly where he was in the game, based just on the music.
So he waited.
"Severuuuuuuus..." Remus wheeled around and gave him the Puppy Eyes. "Will you help me?"
"No. No I will not." He gave his lover a Very Stern Look Indeed. "You need to figure out how to do this on your own."
"I've tried! Don't you think I've tried!" Remus looked hurt. He began ticking points off on his fingers. "I've read the forums, I've watched the YouTube videos, I've even watched some of the other players and I just can't figure it out. This is the LAST one I have to do and then I won't ever ever ever ever EVER bother you for this again."
Severus regarded him for a long moment. "...no. It's the principal of the thing, Remus. You should be doing this on your own, like everyone else -"
"I've seen other people assisting!" Remus countered.
"-like everyone else should be doing," Severus said archly. "It gives you pride in your accomplishments."
Remus regarded him for a long moment, then said, "Help me become Champion of Orgrimmar and I'll give you the best fucking blow job in the entire universe."
...Well, who was he to say no to that? Besides, it was jousting. And jousting was stupid. "Oh very well," he said, looking Quite Put Upon. If only to keep up appearances. "But I'm not helping you with the Crusader dailies."
