Housekeeping - Poll, LiveLongNMarry, Charity Gift, personal
First, the poll about whether to hold Fantasy Fest this year is open until 11:59 pm EST Thursday night. So far, we've only had 19 positive responses from potential creators. I'm a little reluctant to tie up the entire community for a month and change if the bulk of the active community isn't behind the idea. Then again, I mentally told myself that we'd "go" if we had 20 responses, so we're really almost there. ~_^
Even if you're not planning on writing or drawing for the fest, please note: The two text entry boxes are for anyone, reader, artist, candle-stick maker, etc. If you have thoughts about the fest one way or another, feel free to leave them there or in the comments, which are screened and allow anonymous posts.
To the person who asked: Minimum word count is usually set at 1000 words, and I know you regularly make that mark. Hee!
Many of our fellow lupin_snape members are participating in the LiveLongNMarry charity drive being held on LJ. If you are a long-time member of this community, feel free to pimp your offering posts in reply to this post. Just this once, you don't have to be offering anything Snape/Lupin to make your pimp here. Membership does have its privileges. *grin* If you want to know more about LiveLongNMarry, please use the link above and visit the community.
In other news, something tells me you can't rename tags to an existing tag, so if you find your Family Fest or Trading Places pieces are mis-labeled now, that would be my mistake. *blush*
BUT! It's a good time to remind everyone to use the existing tags whenever possible. Any member can tag a post here with existing tags.
*takes the mod hat off* On a personal note, dancingskeleton added a piece of art to my Fairy Tale entry here, after most of you had already read the story. If you go back to check it out, let her know you saw it. If you go to Lupin_Snape on LJ, you'll find that werewolf_lib has knitted a wolf plushy as well. I'm honoured to have inspired such a response. Thank you
And that's it for now! I hope everyone has a fun, SAFE, happy Fourth of July, whether you're in the states or not! *HUGS COMMUNITY*
