"Pineapple weed as a salad herb? I have my doubts." Severus made a face at the menu. "One would think you'd prefer the beef tartare."

"Not till right before the full moon," said Remus serenely. His foot caressed Severus' instep. "Shall we live dangerously? Nasturtium and dandelion greens aren't bad."

Severus looked over the rest of the menu. The musicians were on a break so the audience could order. He glanced up at his companion. "Perhaps we should. We do need to eat."

"Most definitely." Remus' smile was distinctly feral. "We'll need fuel for later, I think."

Severus swallowed.
