"I can loan you some records." Lupin stroked his moustache and stepped aside "Here, sit down. You look like you've had a hard day."

"Budget time is never easy. Anyone who thinks that teachers get the summer off is a dunderhead." Severus allowed himself to be ushered into a comfortable, somewhat shabby parlor. Several electronic devices were set up against the opposite wall. "How did you get those to work?"

"They're doing amazing work in Japan these days," said Lupin. He held up a glass of darkish liquid. "Champagne de Mars? It's rather good."

Severus took a cautious sip.
