When Regulus disappeared, Remus knew his lover wasn't coming back. He turned to Sirius first, in hopes that they could console each other after their mutual loss, but Sirius said, "Good riddance" and scolded Remus for choosing a Slytherin over his friends.

Next, Remus turned to James, but James only berated him for betraying Sirius and sent him away.

Finally, Remus turned to Peter, who nodded absently but seemed too distracted to care about Remus' grief.

When James and Lily died and Sirius was sent to Azkaban, Remus turned to no one. He had already learned how to mourn alone.
