"Volunteer," Snape rasped. "I'm supposed to volunteer."

"Ohhh," said the Healer. She blinked, checked her paperwork and blinked again. "Here's your orientation packet, waiver, name badge - "

Snape scowled but complied. Anything was better than being "rewarded" for nearly dying with a nice trip to Azkaban as expiation for Dumbledore's death, never mind -

"Professor Snape? Are you here to help?"

Snape turned and stared at Neville Longbottom. The dunderhead was pushing a wheelchair that contained the limp, drooling, but very much alive Remus Lupin.
