It's impossible, to tell the sun to leave the sky, it's just impossible -

Lupin had the wireless on, of course. And of course it was a Muggle singer. Snape made a rude noise. Wizards knew that occulta solis most certainly could tell the sun to leave the sky, or at least produce the illusion--

"Ah, Severus. Ready for the staff Valentine's party?"

Snape scowled.

"No. Yourself?"

Lupin looked pensive. "I'd love to, but after Dora - well, it wouldn't be in good taste, would it?"

Snape raised his eyebrows. Perhaps there was hope for the man after all.
