“Where do you think you are going?” Severus peered up from his morning paper.
“Library,” replied Remus, grabbing his Muggle-appropriate coat and stuffing a scone in his mouth. “Thif…” He chewed and swallowed. “…book is due.”
Severus’s eyes fixed on the book. His lips thinned. “Oh.”
Remus raised one eyebrow. “Sorry to see it go?”
“The book was enlivening. It provided us new…ideas,” said Severus, sipping his tea.
Remus grinned. “Like the thing last night?”
Severus turned the page of his paper. “Indeed. Like that thing.”
“I’ll renew it, shall I?” Remus asked.
Severus didn’t look up. “If you must.”
