Hello everyone! As most of you know, we have a lot of hiatuses going on at the moment, so I've done what I can to compile a list of people who have posted hiatus notices and who I still believe are on hiatus. If any of this information is incorrect, or if you need to be put on the hiatus list, please let us know.

Some notes about hiatuses:
If you are going to be away from the game for more than a few days, please please please post a hiatus note. We understand that life can throw us some unexpected turns, but even a brief message helps us know that you haven't forgotten the game. Please don't make open ended hiatuses: let us know about how long you'll be gone. When you get back, please let us know you're back, too!

Some notes on activity:
It's paramount. If you haven't been consistently active, and haven't been posting hiatuses, that's going to be detrimental to the possibility of your character awakening. We take note of these things, and unfortunately it does seem that especially recently, a certain number of people have been carrying the weight of the activity around here.

As such, we will be doing an activity check today. Any characters that have not been consistently active, and this means a) commenting on journal entries/making entries/participating in texts/emails/what have you and b) logging, will be poked. Anyone who has shown limited activity (ie. not commenting on entries, rarely logging or posting entries, not replying to comments/finishing logs) will be poked and sent an email to determine if they're still interested in the game.

People who have been poked and don't get an email should take that to mean simply that we don't feel you are meeting the activity requirements of the game, and you should look at your activity and try to improve it.

Once all this "spring cleaning" is done, we'll be working on the future of plot-related items. Look for a regular mod post on Tuesday regarding the next senshi/knight awakening (we will not be doing a collector awakening as scheduled due to the low activity of current potential collectors. Baddie awakenings are based on that, too!)

Please don't take any of this personally! We just want to make sure everyone is doing what needs to be done to make the game successful.

First of all, apologies for not getting the mod note out this week in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there won't be one this week at all, as both mods are having crazy times at work. Don't think we abandoned you! Things are sure to calm down next week, so please look for an update on Sunday with some important info regarding the future of the game and the next scheduled awakening. Thanks for your patience!

Our next Senshi/Knight awakening will take place in three weeks. Before that, another collector will be awakening, so keep your eyes peeled for that! Keep in mind that at any time you're welcome to log collectors and Senshi/Knights to get extra battle points. It doesn't have to be during an awakening!

Kudos this week go to the Luna awakening narration! Don't forget about the kudo box! Any log selected by the mods from the nominations for kudos will receive an extra .25 points, which will count toward an awakening (or if already awakened, battle points). Logs for nomination do not have to be current. As long as it's a log that hasn't been nominated before, we'll consider it! Lately it's been the same people nominating logs, so don't forget to get out there and browse what other people are doing and start nominating.

( Weather & News For May 10th - May 16th )

This weekend's awakening will be a Knight awakening. The randomly selected Senshi for this round is Moon Knight!

Anyone who has Moon Knight listed as one of their four choices on their application should comment to this entry with the following:

1. Any logs your character has participated in after April 8th. Logs will only be counted if they have gone for three rounds or more and are posted in the community (even if incomplete), though they must be active or finished at the time of the awakening to be counted. Abandoned logs will not be counted unless they have gone for seven rounds or more, or are substantial. (Also, please indicate by log if it's a scenario game!)


2. Any entries your character has made after April 8th. Up to two journal entries a week will be counted - beyond that, points will not be awarded.

A quarter of a point will be added per week for general activity (commenting), and a quarter of a point will be deducted per week for failing to be active at all. No points will be awarded for low character activity. (It's not necessary to post these - we know who comments and who doesn't.)

The mods will compile your base score from your posted logs and entries, as well as your general activity. If you've won any kudo points, they'll be added as well. Then, we will roll a die for each character and add the die roll to your base score - the character who has the highest total score will be awakened as Moon Knight.

An activity check will also be conducted at this time. Any characters who are not on hiatus and show low signs of life (not participating in logs, not commenting, not making entries) will be nudged. If they don't make an appearance by Sunday, they will be emailed, and we'll go from there.

The awakening is scheduled to take place at some time this weekend or early next week, whenever works best for those involved. Most of you know the drill by now!

( Weather & News For May 3rd - May 8th )

We wanted to apologize for all the whackiness and lateness that's been going on around here lately. Most of that has been due to IJ's downtime - between that and trying to coordinate mod schedules to look at everything and discuss, we lagged a little in things like replying to questions and reading applications, so hopefully if this continues (fingers crossed that it won't) you'll all bear with us a little longer!

As such, there's no Scenario Game for this week so you can all have time to post on the one from last. That'll count for extra scenario points if it gets up before next week's mod post!

( Weather & News For April 19th - April 24th )

Please update your Friend's lists! We've had some removals and additions.

For the removals: Because we've lost two Collectors in the last week or so, the Celestian COs have agreed to compensate with a small change in their roaster: In game, Josephine and Anna will both be sent to New York City first thing Wednesday in order to "kick off" the second phase of the Celestian's mission. That means that those of you whose characters have relationships with one or both of those two should have something to react to in a couple of days - it's likely that their move will be sudden and unplanned, so compensate with that however you'd like. The position of Uranus Knight is once more open for the taking during our next Knight awakening, which will be in four weeks.

Our next Collector awakening will be Gabe, and that will happen sometime late next week, so keep your eyes open for next week's mod post for information about that. A small plea, if anyone knows of anyone who might be interested in playing a collector, or if anyone is interested in picking one up, please consider it further! We're at the end of our PC list!

This week we're starting something new - an update in the comments of the mod post each week will come from Pink to update everyone OOCly on what's going on with the Celestians. Some characters will be privy to this knowledge while some won't, but since Avaela and Varek don't use blogs, we thought this would be a good way to keep everyone abreast of what's happening. ( Weather & News For March 28th - April 3rd )

The mods are currently working on putting together an informational "guidebook" for Celestians - that is, what is known about their society, powers, collectors, and current knowledge of Senshi/Knights. While we've been trying to keep up with all the great logs here, there are inevitably things that we miss, so it would be really helpful to us if those of you who have Celestian collectors could let us know of any of those things listed above that you've brought into play. Also, if those of you who have Collectors could please write up a short description of your Collector's collector for the post, that would be absolutely wonderful!

Any suggestions you might have for things you would like to see incorporated into Celestian technology or culture are welcome as well! Even if you don't have a Celestian character, we'd love to hear your ideas =).

( Weather & News For March 16th - March 20th )

Since the press conference is coming up tomorrow, we thought we'd offer you all a chance to ask questions that you might like to see the police answer. Unless your character is involved with the police department in some way, these questions will be asked by the media that are present at the conference. Opening the floor to possible questions is our way of answering anything you might like to know ICly from the police.

We will try to answer all your questions, but it's possible that some questions might be unanswerable, either because the police do not have the information, or because they cannot release it. It's also possible that the police may lie in certain instances, but keep in mind that your characters (if they watch the conference) will get more "information" than they had before!

Questions will be answered by the Chief of Police. If you would like your character to attend the conference (news media, detectives, police officers, PIs, that's you!), please let us know here so we can mention that, as the conference will be described in the form of a script.

All comments are screened, so ask away. Please note that your question may be reworded. We'll post answers tomorrow evening.

In relation to that, we'd also like to mention that those of you who have Collectors or Senshi can feel free to log collections or run-ins at any time you'd like. You needn't wait for an awakening to have a clash! Hopefully that wasn't unclear before. We'd love to see more violence some more interaction between our heroes and "villains," so just remember that if you'd like to log a battle, toss the mods an email and we'll calculate the winner and any damage you might like. The next collector to be awoken will be Josephine. Her awakening will take place sometime this weekend - the exact date is up to the Celestian higher-ups. We're sure by now that you known the drill!

We'd like to remind everyone of a couple key points from the FAQ now that more Senshi and Knights are awakening, so please take heed if your characters have been awoken or if you're playing a potential Senshi or Knight! Luna and Artemis, too!

Senshi and Knights are not reincarnations, so they will have no memories of the Silver Millennium or their Silver Millennium counterparts.

The Celestians have never visited our solar system before, so they are virtually unknown to everyone. Anything that has not been revealed in-game about their activities, including why they want the star seeds, what the full extent of their powers are, how many of them there are, what planet they come from, the name of their race, etc., is unknown to everyone currently in game (aside from the Celestians themselves, of course!). When we get a Sailor Pluto, she will be able to provide more information, but currently, you all are pretty much in the dark!

The next senshi/knight awakening will take place March 14th - in three weeks. The next collector will be awakened sometime next week, the exact date to be announced in next Monday's news post. Wonderful job on the double awakening! Those logs are still in progress, but they look great so far and probably aren't far from finishing, so we thought we'd put up the news for this week before it got too late.
