BREAKING NEWS SEATTLE, WA. A new body has been discovered at Seattle's Pier 50. The victim, a 28 year old woman, was discovered yesterday evening after dock workers on a nearby pier reported strange weather activity in the area and went to check it out. "Nobody's been down there for years, not since it was declared condemned," Mike Weston told the Seattle Times this morning. "The whole place was messed up, like a giant wave had come through, and it was cold as, well, you can imagine. Colder than everywhere else, anyway." The victim has been identified as one Sarah Parker. Police this morning have closed off the pier for their investigation. "The female had been recently cleared," said the lead detective on the case. "We were also able to gather DNA evidence that will hopefully give us a lead." No news on whether any suspects in the case have been identified. However, activity around the homicide department has been high, and police expect to have a lead suspect by tomorrow. Tomorrow can't come too soon for two missing persons, both disappeared within four days of one another. Noah Reynolds and Kendra Newbury were reported missing by family members April 13th and today, respectively. Like the college student who went missing more than a month ago, police suspect that these disappearances are related to Seattle's recent murders. Police are also expected to announce tonight that federal investigators will soon be involved. It was already announce this morning that Private Detective Ken Song has been added to the case. Song is well known for his role in the Green River task force that arrested Gary Ridgway in late 2001. Parker is the fifth body found by police this week. |
