These are gorgeous! I love the Padame and Yoda ones!

I haven't seen the phantom menace yet. I saw Attack of the Clones when it came out in theaters, having at the time never seen any of the Star Wars series. Ian fixed that by making me watch the original series in 2004 when he was horrified to hear that.

We'll probably purchase the first one soon from amazon and then I'll rewatch them all and perhaps find another fandom to get attached too.

I saw the original ones first. I don't even remember when I saw them. It's the reason why I saw Phantom Menace only to refuse to watch Attack of Clones, because I didn't like the trailer. Which meant I "couldn't" watch the third one because I was missing part of it... I ended up watching those with a friend and my Star Wars love turned me to fandom :D

I both liked and didn't like the third one. I was rather disappointed with the way the movie did Anakin's turn to the dark side although the book to go along with the movie did a really good job. (We belong to a Sci Fi book club and forgot to cancel the featured selection that month.)

I like Obi/Anakin as friends or as lovers. In the first trilogy I shipped Luke/Leia in the first movie but I told Ian and he was like
:-0 and then they were related such a bummer. :-D

I love the scene where he goes against the temple... but overall there was a lot of things that have me on differing views. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. Especiallly that Yoda, Obi-Wan and others simply didn't notice or care about his own conflict.

Yeah, I hated that scene where they figured out they were twins. I so rooted for them :) Not that I didn't like Han. I just loved Luke/Leia more.

For siblings they made them have a lot of chemistry. And thus made things incestuously wrong!

And in the Harry Potter fandom they are frequently compared to the Harry/Hermione ship. :-P (My icon says how I feel about that one, lol)

They had a lot of chemistry. My mother once told me she couldn't see it since Harrison Ford is way better looking. But that's not really what counts (or alternatively, I wanted him for myself and got "rid" of the rival by giving her someone else :D )

It was made by Venus Ice a few years ago... I've never found an icon that covers my feelings better.

Funnily enough in Doctor Who fandom I'm harassed for liking the canon pairing whereas in Harry Potter I was harassed for liking the non canon. Ever get the feeling you just can't win? :-P

Hmm... he might be better looking but looks fade and the way she meshed with Luke seemed like he would have been a much better personality match.

Personally I'd rather have Obi Wan from the prequels... :-D

That's totally my thought... they mashed far better character wise.

When you take all movies together... yes the Obi-Wan from the prequels is the best(followed by Anakin before he fell to the dark side)
