Original Note:
Here's the last set of 20in20 icons for this month. After being undecided about who I wanted to claim for lotrth20in20 and being tired of picking the same characters over and over again, I decided to go with a character I probably haven't made any icons (specifically) for before so far: Faramir.

I really love how some of the icons turned out, but overall, I feel a bit let down (as I do with most icons I've posted in the past couple of months - if not longer). I used to be so creative even if it didn't always turn out looking good. I learned along the way. However, I feel as if I'm stuck doing the same methods/colourings over and over again without progressing. It doesn't help that I tend to prefer simpler icons and I do like the results of my tried and tested "recipes". I guess it's hard to combine "hating" the process while still loving the result.
It probably doesn't help that outside of the contests I mod, I haven't looked at other icons at all

But another moping, on to the icons :)

Here's a general Doctor Who set made in honour of round 60 @ doctorwho20in20. There might be an Aragorn set tomorrow if I ignore the extension I set for today, but with only 1 set submitted to lotrth20in20 so far... I'll have to think about that. Especially since I don't put out the icons as quick as I used to (and boy do I remember doing 3 20in20 sets in one (long) evening.

On the other hand, searching for images is what takes me the longest and I really need a new image viewing software since this one is utter rubbish and it doesn't help that it's importing tons of screencaps while I'm trying to search for something...

I've already mentally said goodbye to the general round @ season20in20 :(

I claimed Kate Stewart for round 57 @ doctorwho20in20. I also threw in some bonus Osgood icons. Additionally, I hade made some 12th Doctor icons for a previous round that I didn't finish. I just realised I hadn't actually posted them yet. :)

The prompt crack just wouldn't come out as I had imagined it (and I have to admit I was a bit distracted with the Doctor deciding he's going to quit travelling through time and space to become a prima ballerina...), but I was thinking about doing a Star Wars spoof by reflecting the scene where Vader tells Luke "I'm your father".
And Crossover has left me with wanting to pair Kate with Maria Hill from the MCU.

There will be a lot of posts shortly as I realised that I haven't kept this asylum up-to-date with icons made on livejournal/dreamwidth... The first set was made last year before I put the community dailyicons (on Dreamwidth) on hiatus earlier this year. At which point I realised they weren't on LJ, but for some reason never checked IJ... The second set is from this month and was made for season20in20 on LJ.

A last minute call for icons. I meant to post and make them yesterday, but I just couldn't get my head around it and went to bed early. This luckily resulted in an early morning today, renewed inspiration and motivation and 3 finished sets due yesterday today. I'm so glad I'm the mod at all 3 of them and had already announced I would do the voting this evening when I extended the rounds. Just to be fair to everyone of course.

Anyway, there are 22 Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit icons for round 5 @ lotr20in20 @DW, 24 Agents of SHIELD icons for round 42 @ season20in20 and 22 Amy Pond icons for round 42 @ doctorwho20in20.

The Agents of SHIELD icons use screencaps up to the latest episode "Yes Men". However, the crops tend to be faces only so it shouldn't be too spoilery if you know the general episode summary.
