It took a lot of paying attention to things Cai had pointed out for a while. She would have been lying if she felt like he was only chasing her because she refused to give in at first. Of course, that was clearly not the case as Cyn felt him begin to play with her hair. No, he definitely showed that, if anything, she meant something to him and that was more than enough for her. How unusual it was that her life changed so drastically in the past few months and how much she knew that changing it would not happen any time soon. Not unless something changed on his end. So the woman enjoyed sitting here wrapped around him with her head on his shoulder and against his head. "Oh it's true. Caffeine and anger do not mix."
It was amazing how different she and Chevy could be. Cyn was calm, laid back and mostly peaceful. Chev was very energetic all things considered. Still, in moments like this, she was excited for him. "Paperwork is pretty lame, but, you know, it's only a week," she told him before leaning back a little to look at him with a smile. "And then I can brag about my sexy man being an EMT as well." Her hands ran through the back of his hair slowly, scratching with her nails. "I guess I should get used to some crazy schedules soon?" It was worth it.
