It was a little shocking how much the pair of them had suffered similar things, but in different ways. She was simply lucky that her step family was more than happy to let her escape into her own world. Not like they gave her much option on that. Still, they did imprint her with the thoughts of her being less worthy than other females. Well, Luca had been doing a very decent job at breaking that stereotype. And she was more than willing to be happy for him. She was ecstatic for him. And the moment he sat with her, Cynthia took his hand and smiled softly before moving closer to him.
Her head followed Luca after he kissed her with a bit of a smile. Her eyes stayed closed for a moment before opening slowly. "I haven't thought that far. Maybe with something fun and entertaining. Uhm... we can prepare for the 50th... I mean... it is today and all but Chevy will kill me if I watch it without her. And tonight is for you and me."
