Luca was on a happy high. He finally got the chance to tell his dad exactly where he could shove the job he had all but forced Luca in to. Finally being free of the job he hated, and the tension it caused between him and his father, Luca finally felt like he could actually breathe. He had an amazing girlfriend, and now a job that he actually wanted. His life finally felt like it was all falling into place. His father, of course, was pissed beyond reason. There had been far too much yelling for Luca's liking, and he was pretty sure that his mother had drank an entire bottle of wine by herself as she listened to it all, not bothering to say a word. That was how things worked in their family; his father yelled, and his mother drank.
There was no way that Luca was going to refuse time with Cyn, ever, so when he got her invitation to come over, he was out the door in a heartbeat. Besides, he had a feeling he wasn't going to want to be around his father much for at least the next week, maybe more. This was a huge thing, while Luca had secretly hoped that his father might be a little bit proud of him, he knew that he wouldn't be happy about it at all. It was a done deal, now. There was no going back (not that Luca would want to anyway). He just wished that his father wasn't such a difficult man.
He let himself into Cyn's apartment, and was instantly greeted by the absolutely gorgeous blonde. While most men would turn up their noses at a girl who was dressed in nothing but one of his shirts and mismatched socks, Luca thought it was one of the sexiest things he'd ever laid eyes on. He turned in her arms, a grin spreading across his face. "Well, hello to you too." He said as he bent to kiss her. This was exactly what he needed after a stressful afternoon listening to his father.
