He didn't have to be. Lana was a firm believer in that. There was nothing more upsetting that the fact that he seemed to neuter himself when it came to social interactions. She wanted him to be with other people and have fun. As much as she hated having him taken away from her, she wanted her brother to be happy. She knew that his happiness may not be so directly linked to her as it had been in earlier years. His reaction to Thora getting injured was proof of that. But Lana could not be selfish and she did not want him to believe that she did not want him to enjoy this new addition to is life. His sister wanted him to tell this other girl what she meant to him. Maybe, just maybe, something good could happen to him for once.
When he spoke again, she looked over briefly before looked forward again. She was not entirely sure herself. She was not good at finding people to date. She had accepted it was safer for her to simply stay single and alone for the rest of her life. Less bad things happened that way. Talking or sharing emotions never happened in her relationship. "Maybe just tell her you were worried... gauge it from there," she suggested. Her eyes glanced over to the GPS to make sure she was still going the right way. "I'm sure her reaction to you coming to see her will be enough to judge something, yeah?" Lana wished she could be more help with this. She was no good at feelings, either.
