Summary: Everybody parties at the Halloween Ball!

This is your ball post, everyone! Here's how this will go.

Different locations in the Great Hall will be posted as separate comments, which will include a little description of each. These will be the Entrance Hall, the Dance Floor, and the Tables. You should reply to any/all of these comments with your character, and if other characters reply to that subthread, they are interacting with your character. Please indicate in the subject whether your character's subthread is open or whether it has participants in mind already (EG, maybe John is at the ball and taking a break from dancing at the tables, waiting to see if someone comes up to him, so the title for his comment would be "Jack/Open", but maybe Jill is meeting Adam at the ball, so she would reply to the Entrance Hall thread with "Jill/Adam" in the subject).

Please wait to reply the ball until all the comment locations are up. Backdating of threads/journals related to the ball is allowed until Tuesday, and posting placeholders is not allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to PM the mod account!

Bertie chuckled at Ro's remark and gingerly rubbed his chin. "What can I say, I tried." He flashed a giant grin at the Hufflepuff girl. As Ro curtsied, he couldn't help but notice a quick flash of cleavage. Oi, keep your mind out of the gutter, he told himself, as he tried to stifle a chuckle. To hide the smirk that had formed on his face, he bowed deeply in a manner befitting his princely costume.

As the band switched from a more uptempo song to a slow dance, he took this as a cue to stop standing awkwardly in heavy-arse chainmail. Right. He extended his hand in Ro's direction. "Princess Rolanda, may I have this dance?" he asked with a slight tone of mock amusement.

	She wasn't certain she really fit the role of princess- especially in her current costume- but she wouldn't argue it in this context. Instead Ro just slipped her hand easily in with Bertie's. "But of course, my liege," the title was added easily- to her, it sounded almost as ridiculous to call him that as it was to think of herself as a princess. (Reply to this) (Parent)
