Summary: Everybody parties at the Halloween Ball!

This is your ball post, everyone! Here's how this will go.

Different locations in the Great Hall will be posted as separate comments, which will include a little description of each. These will be the Entrance Hall, the Dance Floor, and the Tables. You should reply to any/all of these comments with your character, and if other characters reply to that subthread, they are interacting with your character. Please indicate in the subject whether your character's subthread is open or whether it has participants in mind already (EG, maybe John is at the ball and taking a break from dancing at the tables, waiting to see if someone comes up to him, so the title for his comment would be "Jack/Open", but maybe Jill is meeting Adam at the ball, so she would reply to the Entrance Hall thread with "Jill/Adam" in the subject).

Please wait to reply the ball until all the comment locations are up. Backdating of threads/journals related to the ball is allowed until Tuesday, and posting placeholders is not allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to PM the mod account!

	Molly wouldn't have been quite certain what to make of Arthur's costume- though she was definitely amused by all the... bedazzling. She would have blushed at the mention of a gift, insisting that she didn't expect them, but she would have been happy to dance with Arthur if he'd asked. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"You make an adorable rabbit," he said with a grin. "And happy birthday, Molly." He would have hugged her but he thought it might be inappropriate. Plus, all the bedazzling on his costume was liable to stab her somewhere or other. Truthfully, the costume wasn't the most comfortable, and having his chest exposed made him a bit self-conscious.

"Can I tear you away for a dance?" he asked. "I promise not to shake my hips too much."

"Thank you, Arthur," she replied, knowing that her cheeks were flushing, but there was really nothing to be done for that. Instead, Molly just shook her head to wiggle the ears a bit. As he asked for a dance, though, Molly bit her lip almost nervously- no one had asked her that before, unless you counted her friends or brothers. But Arthur was just being polite, and Molly was glad to accept his offer. "Yes, of course- with- without the hip-shaking, I think."

Arthur couldn't help but notice her reaction, and it caused a bit of color to flush in his cheeks as well. He hoped that she couldn't see. "Don't worry, I'll keep the hips under control," he said, offering her a hand. Arthur loved to dance. As he led her to an empty spot on the dance floor he could already feel the music coursing through him.

Once he found a space that wasn't too crowded he turned back toward her. "I love this song," he said. It was one of the band's more popular songs. He began dancing, careful not to be ungentlemanly and crowd her.

	She may not have been the best dancer, but Molly enjoyed it nonetheless, and with this sort of music it was near impossible not to just move. She probably didn't look very elegant, but she didn't really care, either. "Me too!" Molly replied, cheerfully, spinning about in place, feeling almost giddy in the moment. (Reply to this) (Parent)
