WHO: Aurelia and Felicity WHEN: Saturday, October 23. Evening WHERE: Slytherin Dorm; Felicity's Room WHAT: Commiserating a sad day. Plotting people's demise to cheer them up. Being fabulous. The usual ;) RATING: Likely low unless they start cursing; which is unlikely because they're LADIES.
Today was just not a good day. Really, nothing more terrible than normal had happened. Aurelia didn't have never-ending back luck, nor did everything she try to do turn into a disaster. It was nothing out of the ordinary as far as anyone else might be concerned. That was just another part of the carefully controlled mask she wore, however. And it was also just further proof that everyone at this school was full of idiots. Nobody seemed to remember that today was indeed no ordinary day. It was actually Samson's birthday, though there were very few who seemed to even think of her poor brother anymore. Sighing, Aurelia shook off the frown that had set itself between her eyes and tried to look aloof and charming all at once. She could not break down until she got to Felicity's dorm. Even then, she wasn't entirely sure of how to handle the memory that had hovered over her like a black cloud all day. Pulling her dark hair up into a ponytail, she grabbed a stash of sweets from her trunk at the end of her bed and headed towards the Slytherin dungeons.
Instead of stopping in the halls to greet and chat with people she might know, Aurelia headed straight for her destination. She was a girl on a mission, and it was apparent in her expression. Or at least she assumed it was, because students stepped out of her way as she walked hurriedly instead of trying to engage her. Once she made it past the doorway, having given the correct password that Felicity had passed on earlier, she knew exactly which way to go. Several students looked up as she passed, but nobody questioned her presence there. That was the beauty of being Aurelia Parkinson. People rarely questioned her because they knew what she was capable of. Knocking on the door to Felicity's room, she tapped her foot a little as she waited for her friend to answer.
