Oh what a night!!

Summary: Riley invited Brigid over to share ice cream after work.

Riley smiled as he closed the enveloppe and gave it to his owl, sending it off to seek Brigid. He wanted to know if she would join him after work at Foretescue's for ice cream and some quality time together. He had moved into the flat with Ryan and had found it hard to be around his brother so much now that they lived together. Maybe he was starting to have trust issues or something, but it didn't stop him from moving in and gettng settled in his bedroom. He had not really had time to play much since, but he would get to it.

Once the answer was in, Riley grinned and almost ran all the way over to work, incredibly happy. He had honestly not been so happy in a long time, he knew that for certain. Being with Brigid was pretty much equal to playing his cello.

Riley chuckled. "Of course, once you are living on your own." He hadn't actually meant now. "I doubt your flatmate would like you much if you decided to make your own walk in closet out of her room." He added with an other chuckle.

He let himself fall completely on the bed, gazing at the ceiling for a moment before turning his head to look at Brigid. Gosh, she was so beautiful. "How do you play on doing that?" He asked teasingly. Turning him into a 'playboy' would be like turning a toad into a prince.

"I don't know if I feel settled. I just.." He swallowed and looked up. "I just don't know. Maybe it'll feel better once I get real furniture in here and learn how to cook." There were just so many nights he could eat cereals or toasts.

She chuckled along with him. "I think she'd prefer to have a library or office over a larger closet," she replied, based on her impressions of the other girl.

Brigid looked at him as he asked her how she'd go about turning him into a playboy. "First off, you'd have to shop at the robe store downstairs, spend less time with music and more time on physical fitness and begin dating every bird in sight," she said before leaning forward. She kissed him gently on the lips. "But since I like you just the way you are, you don't need to change a thing."

She brushed her lips against his one more time before pulling away. "I can help you with the cooking front. My mum taught me some basic staples. A beef stew, roasted chicken, chocolate cake."

He gave a soft moan when she kissed his lips and told him she liked him just the way he was. "Good, because I really don't think I could do all of that." Riley whispered softly, reaching out to brush her cheek with the back of his fingers. "Besides, why go through all that trouble of spending more money than I own on clothes, do a lot of workout and forsake my music just to date a bunch of girls when.." He sighed and smiled at her. "When I've got you.." He really liked to be with Brigid and hearing her say she liked him too made him feel very warm.

"I don't care about anybody else."

	Her smile grew wider as he talked about enjoying her company and not wanting to be with anyone else. Plus, she didn't want him to change at all. Smiling, he let his fingers trail from her cheek to her hair. Damn he liked how soft and shiny her hair was! Riley couldn't ask more, he thought. Brigid was smart, funny, beautiful and interested in him. Even more, she knew about his passion about music and didn't think he was crazy.

He left the bed and moved over to the shelves where his radio was. A specialist had long ago transformed the device so it wouldn't break at the first spark of Magic going around and Riley put in one of his favorite compilation of sonatas there were. Cello, piano, some violin played very softly brought an even wider smile on his face. He didn't want the music to take all the place in the room, just enough to accompany them.

He offered his hand to Brigid. "Want to dance?" he asked. He much preferred to be dancing slowly, close to her than being like that on the bed. It was a matter of time before he'd get all sorts of ideas going through his mind.

She couldn't help but be just a little disappointed when he got off the bed and moved away from her. From her position, she watched him cross over to a radio and put on some music. When he asked her to dance, Brigid smiled as she scooted to the edge.

Taking his outstretched hand, she slid into his arms. Unlike at the Ball, she purposefully positioned herself very close to him. One of her arms wrapped around his shoulder and her fingers went straight to the nape of his neck. Brigid didn't say a word, just swayed to the music.

Riley just couldn't help but think that she was doing this thing with her fingers on purpose. His arms wrapped around her waist and his hands spread over her lower back and he leaned forward, resting his forehead against hers. He was so close to her that he could feel her breath against his lips.

Did she still taste like that chocolate mint ice cream she'd had earlier? There was only one way to know..

With a subtle shift he kissed her lips gently and felt his whole body heat up as if he had been ignited like a bonfire.

Her eyes were closed for only a moment as they danced to the sonata. Her mind was on how nice it was just being there with him without having to think about the move or finding a job. It was as if all her worries just faded away.

Since her eyes were closed, she didn't see the kiss coming. However, once his lips met hers, she instinctively reacted by kissing him back softly. Her arms tightened just a little, bring them a little closer together. Now, whenever they swayed, their bodies lightly brushed one another.

He tried to keep the kiss light by holding Brigid closer and allowed his lips to brush against her cheek lightly. The last thing he wanted was for Brigid to think he had owled her just for a snog when in fact, he just wanted to be with her.

His whole body hummed to a different music than what was playing, same rhythm though, but different notes. Piano was making place for cello and right then he knew he'd pick up his instrument later. Notes started to flood his mind, a music sheet creating itself in his mind. Rarely, Riley had composed for someone, even more rarely about someone but now.. right at this instant all he could think about, and feel about, was Brigid.

Most of her wasn't bothered at all by Riley's light kisses, even when they were just on her cheeks. Most of the blokes she dated were faster moving and she was the one always slowing them down. While the change of pace was nice, Brigid wondered at certain moments, particularly like the current one, if she was pushing him to far or too fast.

However, she didn't let it get to her. At least not yet. After feeling his lips across her cheek, she rested it against his own. Dancing cheek to cheek, a smile curved up onto her lips as a sigh of contentment escaped.

"I like this."

His eyes closed and his entire body feeling the moment, Riley's lips curled slightly. "I like this too." He whispered to her ear. He was so afraid to say something wrong, move too fast or even breathe wrong, that he didn't dare say anything else for a while. What if he said something wrong and she left? What if he tried to kiss her and she took offence? He had no idea what she wanted but he was starting to have a pretty good idea of what he'd like to do, that was what scared him the most he thought.

"Brigid, I'm.. I really, really like this." Riley whispered while the music in his heart started playing a bit louder. "I really like you.." It was a leap of faith, he knew that. Chances were that she might not feel the same.

It pleased her to know that he was also enjoying himself. Yes, dancing was not necessarily the manliest thing in the world, but the hopeless romantic in her made Brigid think dancing was wonderfully nice.

With her eyes still closed, she listened to his words and smiled a little bit more. Pulling away just enough to look up at his face, Brigid stared into his eyes.

"I really like you too," she whispered. "I like talking with you, dancing with you, spending time with you."

While she didn't know much about the future, she had hopes for it and right then they included more time with Riley. Of course, they hadn't gone out on many dates, which made her wonder if her next words would be too forward. "I like going out with whether it is dinner or an ice cream cone. I don't want to see anyone else."

His cheeks flushed lightly and he stared right back into her eyes. How they were spending time together didn't matter. Whether it was dinner, ice cream or a walk in the park, it was the same thing. It was about spending time with the other person. But when she said that she didn't want to see anyone else.. His heart skipped a beat. "I don't want to see anyone else either." Riley brought his hand to her face and caressed her cheek with the back of his fingers before leaning in to kiss her.

Her grin widen when he answered. Leaning in at almost the same time as him, Brigid kissed him. She didn't bother with gentle teasing kisses like before. Instead, she licked his lips until they opened enough for her tongue to slip inside and stroke against his. With these kissed, she hoped to convey her happiness of his words and how knowing he only wanted to see her made her feel.

Even though they hadn't specifically given each other the proper label, in her mind they were a couple. Despite her many first dates and possible serial dating habits, the truth was that Brigid liked being in a relationship. And she was beginning to love the idea of being in one with Riley.

Riley attempt to not look surprised when she kissed him so deeply because tensing might send the wrong message but he ended up moaning when their tongues touched and stroke against each other. The fingers that had been stroking her cheek tangled in her hair, keeping her close. A few more of these and Riley's confidence would probably grow more confident.

The arm that was around her back brought her closer and he hoped against all hopes that he'd be able to restrain himself, otherwise it might be slightly uncomfortable.

She heard his moan and let out one of her own. The feeling of his fingers in her hair, the strength behind the arm around her back, which pulled her closer. The way their tongues met and touched one another. Brigid felt each of the sensations individually and collectively.

Her arms tighten their hold on him and her body pressed against his. Not being to push so fast, but not stopping as everything overwhelmed her, leaving her head went blank; savoring the desire she felt. After a long time, Brigid finally pulled away in need for air. Breathing heavily, she rested her head against his shoulder.

Her lips left his own and as her head rested against his shoulder, Riley just asked to ask, "I wasn't too forward, was I?" he asked softly, slightly worried that he might have offended her. It had felt bloody awesome as far as he was concerned, but didn't want Brigid to start thinking it was some kind of booty call.

His hand, which was still on her lower back, caressed a bit higher on her back and he bit his lower lip. Feminine curves were so interesting. Riley fought the impulse that would have made him do something really stupid, like going lower because that was bound to bring him trouble.

Riley shut his eyes tightly and tried to wish the desire away. Might ask well have wished Ryan wasn't his twin, because it was just as much of an impossibility. It was starting to be slightly uncomfortable and he hoped Brigid wouldn't notice.

A giggle escaped because she wondered the same thing about her own actions. "Not at all," she said. "I'll let you if you do anything I don't like."

Right then Brigid liked the way his hands moved over her back. Small, shivers of pleasure ran up her spine. Her back arched slightly, which in turned brought her in closer contact to his desire. Not wanting to embarrass him, she kissed the side of his neck.
