She was happy that he let the subject drop. There wasn't anything wrong with admitting that she got migraines. It had more to do with the way she felt whenever one hit her. The dependency on potions and utter helplessness that came when she was too weak to move. Brigid hated feeling like that and she often berated herself for letting the pain get the best of her.
The kiss to the forehead was a pleasant surprise and a comforting gesture as well. "Thank you, Riley," she said, smiling up at him. Slowly, she slid her hand from his shoulder to closer to his neck while taking a small step closer.
