Who: Stubby Boardman and Andromeda Tonks
What:Stubby stumbles into a young lady who he...remembers vaguely from a concert years prior, which means she must have left quite the impression considering Boardman rarely remembers what he was doing five minutes ago let alone nearly a decade ;)
When: February 3rd!
Where: On the street, near the bowling alley
Status/Rating: High? (Because Stubby always is!) / Incomplete
On top of the world you get nothing done
Talk is cold and burns like the sun
Can’t you see these skies are breaking?
Cause the top of the world is where I’m from

No one needed a damn watch, which was unfortunate, because Stubby needed to get paid. However, if there was one thing he knew about being a musician, it was the fact that having an instrument meant always having a way to make some cash. It wasn’t always an easy way, but that didn’t matter to him--he wasn’t above standing outside a bowling alley in the dead of winter, guitar strapped around his person, singing his fucking lungs out just to buy a bag of prawn flavoured crisps.
At first, he’d played some muggle songs--songs that were popular in his day, but as his fingers got colder and the chords got a bit harder to manage, he switched from Elvis Costello to some of his own music, the old simplistic angry stuff that had set him apart--defined a genre.
He had a guitar case open at his feet, but didn’t otherwise indicate that he was looking for money from the people who bustled by on their way to and from their jobs. It wasn’t long before he had his eyes closed to the cold and was just completely focused on his music.
Artistically speaking, Lockewood had helped him in a way that nothing else could. It had taken him out of life as a rockstar and allowed him a fleeting moment to just focus on his music and not his ‘personality’. Of course, he was still very much the same person, with veins that itched for drugs, a cut bottom lip that would never heal and a faraway look in his eyes that was clearly the result of some long-term damage from hallucinogens, but at least at the moment--he was making music.
