The reactions which played through Gellert's mind were completely oblivious to Roxie. She kept forgetting just how different things were in the past. Especially when Gellert was from! She couldn't imagine half the things girls had to wear back then. Mighty uncomfortable, that's for sure. Roxie was simply used to donning such skimpy outfits. It was okay because everyone did it, even her mother. Hell, it was expected. Girls who wore "lots" swimming obviously had something to hide. From scars to stretch marks, anything was fair game. By showing off her skin, Roxie was flaunting the fact that she had nothing to hide. Luckily both her parents had a fast metabolism and Roxie had never been self conscious of her body. Not that being self conscious was really in Roxie's nature. No matter what happened, it seemed the girl always had a smile plastered on her face.
Roxanne watched as Gellert splashed in the water. Giggled, she faced the cold and dove under the water, surfacing right near the blonde. "Perfect!" she explained, obviously shocked. "It's near freezing! Mum'll have my head if I get sick again." Roxanne's tone was light, demonstrating she certainly wasn't caring about consequences just now. Why bother? If she wasn't having fun now, obviously something was wrong. Life was only so long, right? With a sly smile, Roxie splashed Gellert, giggling the whole while. With a wink, she dove under the water, and swam a bit father. For some reason, water always returned Roxie to her childlike personality. Water reminded everyone of simple times, Roxie included. She loved letting go and just letting the water carry her.
Turning on her back, Roxie used her feet to kick around. "So Kiwi," she began, "what's been going on since you were sick? Anything exciting?"
