Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:anthony goldstein, zacharias smith

Who: Anthony Goldstein and Zacharias Smith
When: Thursday Night
Where: Brews and Bottoms
What: Awkward Date
Rating: TBD

Anthony didn't date. Sure he slept around and went out with plenty of people back in his own world, but he never actually considered any of them his friends. Relationships were disposable and Anthony was completely fine with that. If you didn't attach yourself to anyone then life was easier. Less hassle. Less fuss.

Teasing Zach had been fun. But it hadn't occurred to Anthony that Zach considered him to be his best friend. Anthony was a horrible friend. Factoring in Zach's feelings made the situation more complicated. For awhile he considered just letting it go, but there was part of him who couldn't. Part of him wanted to see if Zach would follow through with it or get too scared and run away. So he agreed to go on a date with Zach.

Sitting at the pub, Anthony wondered how this evening was going to play out. He'd pulled on a pair of jeans which he knew highlighted his attributes quite well and a light jumper the same blue as his eyes. Anthony knew how to dress well. He knew exactly what to do to make people want to sleep with him. But he didn't think those same rules applied to Zach for some reason.

Because he's straight. Anthony frowned and ordered himself a pint. Going on a date with a straight friend wasn't his brightest idea.

It was so weird, touching a chest that was firm and flat and definitely not a woman's. Zach didn't know how he felt about it on an intellectual level, but the kiss and how he felt about it informed him he was just fine with it. He could feel Anthony's heart beating beneath the surface of his skin, urging him on.

When Anthony nipped his shoulder, Zach shivered again, his hand falling to his friend's stomach. He didn't mind... him. When he thought about who he was kissing, the fact that he was kissing a bloke, Zach tensed, scared. But when he ignored that fact and simply felt, it was nothing but incredibly pleasant. And so maybe he would scare half to death tomorrow when he realised what he was doing; for now, he was far too aroused to care.

And that kiss! Zach wrapped an arm around Anthony, trying to bring him closer. It wasn't enough. It needed to be more, to be closer. Laying down, Zach guided Anthony atop him.

"More," he breathed, their breaths mingling. "Please... more."

Laying down on top of Zach, Anthony ran a hand up Zach's hip and side as they kissed. He pressed down on top of Zach, deepening the kiss. This is what he had wanted. Wasn't it? He wanted Zach in his bed and now Zach was here.

And yet he was scared. Anthony knew this wasn't just a snog. Not for him anyway. Anthony pulled back and looked down at Zach, blowing out a long, slow breath. He was going to hate himself for stopping this. "Not now," he said. "I don't want to.. I want to. I want you, but I don't.." Anthony wasn't good at expressing his feelings. Hell, he wasn't good at having emotions. He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "I don't want you to regret this because we're caught up in the moment."
