Yes, she was stubborn, and her best friend was a Gryffindor; Peter had said to be distrusting by not trusting anyone, and really, she had no reason to trust anything that Black was saying. Giving the map back and saying he'd help out Ginny were not exceptionally large gestures of good will. There was still the 'threatening to kill her and Ginny' that hung between them, and Black could talk about all he wanted dying, but Susan was also smart enough to know that if it got out that Black talked to James Potter and didn't do anything, he'd be in trouble too. So yeah, she didn't trust him. And yeah, she was angry at him. Did he expect her to just magically know what it was like for him 16 years ago and all the choices that had come down? The only man she'd ever knew him as had been as a devil, married to the personification of hell. Why shouldn't she be angry and distrustful?
What did he know about the Order anyway? She wasn't exactly asking to join. She was angry, shaking, but she held her tongue on everything except to ask, "How much longer am I required to be in here with you?"
