Who: Cooper & Mikaela
What: Dancing; Let the games begin
When: Late Tuesday Night
Where: A Club Downtown
Rating: TBD
Open? to [info]mikaelachase only

Cooper needed to blow off steam, just like so many other nights. He had been working most of the week, 'working', leaving his fists a little bit bruised from the process. With the night off, he did not need to bother with thinking over what he was going to do. He had come home and showered before changing into some fairly loose-fitting jeans and a black button-up shirt, he grabbed his keys and wallet before he headed out of his apartment. Cooper didn't take all that much pride in many of his possessions, but the thing that was literally his baby was his motorcycle.

Hopping onto said bike, he revved the engine a few times before he tore out of his garage and toward the downtown area. He wove through what little traffic there was and parked out front of his usual spot. Tossing his keys casually to the valet there, he shook his hand like he did more than a few times a week. It had taken him a long time to actually trust the guy to move his bike.

Walking by the line outside, his eyes scanned the people waiting around to get into the club, and he smirked at a couple of girls who gave him the nod. He clapped the bouncer on the shoulder as he slid on by him. Everyone in Boston knew the Connelly boys, and didn't bother to card a single one of them, or even give them a second glance when they walked into such establishments as these. Probably because Cooper was the one to collect "bills" every month from this said club anyway.

After getting himself a beer and draining it, he shrugged off his leather jacket and handed it to the bar tender before he made his way out to the dance floor. He made some comment about 'teaching these chumps how to dance in Boston,' and practically jumped into the center of the fray. Cooper didn't think when he danced, he just let the music flow through him. He didn't do much dancing over in Iraq, and now that he was home, and his knee didn't kill him every time he stepped on it anymore, he was free to move at will. And if he happened to meet some girl who could keep up with him for the night, then he was better for it.

It wasn't entirely rare to find a girl who could appreciate his flirtatious nature, but the rare thing was finding someone who not only appreciated it, but gave it right back to him. He was enjoying himself and for the first time in a long while, he was mostly sober.

"Trust me, this isn't the most powerful thing you'll have between your legs tonight." He said, that crooked smile twisting his lips again. It was a bold line, but one he was sure wouldn't cause her to slap him across the face and storm off...at least he hoped not. His eyes glanced over to her frame, following down the curve of her silky legs to the roll of her barely clad thighs. He had to stop himself from licking his lips like a wolf might before seizing a lamb.

Chuckling a little at her response, he nodded. "Good to know." He said before he slid onto the bike in front of her, kicking the kick stand up and balancing with his feet flat on the pavement. "Hold on tight." He said, one hand smoothing over her soft arm as it hugged around his abdomen. He let go of her to grip the handles and revved the engine a few times before tearing away from the curb, heading toward his apartment.

Mikaela's eyes grew a little wide before she pulled the helmet up just enough for her to reveal the expression she wore. She got a kick out of his remark, it proving just how confident he was in his effect on her. "Well now, someone's feeling a little cocky tonight," she teased, leaning sideways to steal a quick glance at him. "You ever heard of the saying, 'put your money where your mouth is'? Well you keep that mind." When she got a good look at the smirk Cooper wore, she simply shook her head before pulling back to sit comfortably against the seat. Slipping the helmet on the remainder of the way, she leaned forward to press against him, as her arms wrapped tightly around his waist to get a proper hold on him. The loud volume of the engine as he revved it, initially startled her a bit. The closest she had ever been to a motorcycle that size and style was driving past one on the highway. As soon as he took off, pulling away from the curb and onto the main road, her grip on him tightened considerably, as if she were holding on for dear life. It wasn't until they were about a half a mile down the road that her arms finally loosened up enough for her to relax. "If this isn't the most powerful thing I'll be riding tonight, I'm about to get a little scared." Shouting over the roar of the engine, she couldn't help but laugh at her own remark, as her playful sense of humor shined through her words.

He grinned wide at her comment and shrugged his broad shoulders. "Well, I get a little cocky with a hot woman on my bike." He conceded, shooting her a look over his shoulder. His grin only widened at her dare, and he made a mental note to use that comment she'd made to his advantage later. Driving easily down the road, his muscles relaxed as he felt her grip around him tighten. He loved being on his bike, and the fact that her being on it made her cling that much tighter to him well, all the better.

A booming laugh echoed from deep in his throat at her remark, his head shaking a little. "No need to be afraid, I promise." He hollered back, unsure if she could actually hear him, but saying it either way. He knew by now there were things you did to make sure a girl was comfortable with you. His irresistible charm wasn't enough to skate him through all the time.

He drove a few more blocks before he took a turn - probably a little faster than he should have - onto his street. He began to slow down when they approached the garage of his apartment building. He reached out his thumb to push the garage door button before letting his feet drop down to the pavement to coast them in. "You doing okay back there?" He asked over his shoulder, that same smirk stretched across his lips.

"So is it safe to assume you have a lot of hot women on your bike?" Mikaela responded loudly, to ensure he could make out her words. She wouldn't have been surprised if the answer to that question was yes, though she honestly didn't expect him to answer her. It certainly wasn't any of her business, though he did seem the type to attract many women by his charm alone. She smiled to herself when he laughed. Even that was something she found attractive about him. Then again, after having a few drinks, it didn't come as a shock to her that she would. Now holding onto him only tight enough to stay put in her seat, she began to enjoy the short little trip they were on to his place. Her hands that were resting comfortably against his stomach began to move up only slightly, before balling her left hand into a fist; causing the fabric of his shirt to ride up in the process. Slipping her right hand underneath his shirt, she rested her palm against his bare skin. He was warm to the touch, in contrast to her hands that had grown cold. When Cooper finally pulled into his driveway, Mikaela sat herself up a bit more, peering up at his place as he parked his bike. "I am perfectly fine, thank you," she said as she pulled the helmet off of her head.

Cooper just smirked in response to her assumption, shrugging his shoulders a little but making no other noise. Hey, a gentleman did not kiss and tell. The way her fingers moved over his skin sent goosebumps trailing up his arms, however involuntary his actions were. She seemed to know every little trick to turn him on, and they weren't even in the safety of his apartment yet.

Parking his bike in the usual spot, he kicked the stand down and glanced back at her. "Good." He said, still smiling as he slid off of the bike. Straightening his jacket a little bit, he reached out in order to help her off of the seat. "Shall we?"

Mikaela never expected an answer to her question. As a matter a fact she preferred he didn't answer. They were what she considered to be on a need to know basis. Details such as that, might ruin the mood. Once Cooper had parked his bike in his garage and killed the engine, Mikaela slowly loosened her grip around him, letting her arms fall at her sides. Running her fingers through her long blonde hair, once the helmet was removed, she casually took his hand; gracefully thanking him for his assistance as she climbed off of his bike. Tugging at the hem of her short dress that had ridden up considerably, thanks to the position she was in, accompanied by the wind. "Lead the way," she said before pushing the helmet towards him, to follow closely behind as he made his way towards the entrance of his apartment. From what she could see thus far - from the outside of his apartment and surrounding areas alone - he was well off. Not that she was too concerned with what he did for a living. As long as it wasn't an illegal business run out of his home, that she was moments from entering, she felt no need to question him.

His eyes danced over her again, not at all as discreet as he had been before. He could only assume she knew his intentions, and he wasn't going to pretend otherwise. His fingers laced through hers when she took his hand, his other hand reaching out to take the helmet from her. He led her through the garage toward his apartment. The good thing about his job within his family was that it paid well for very little work. The work he did was "invaluable," but he still took a hefty stack of cash for every job he did. That, and the money left to him and his siblings by his parents made sure he never had to delve away from the family for money. He was quite comfortable, and his "toys" and other belongings made that quite apparent.

Leading her up the steps to his apartment, he dropped her hand for one second to fish out his keys and open the door. Once the lock was turned and the door swinging open, he moved his hand down to the small of her back and pulled her close to him, his hand that held his helmet gesturing out toward his now open apartment. "After you, babe."

Mikaela could feel his eyes on her as her gaze stayed fixed forward as they made their way to his front door. He seemed to have been studying her all night, but there was something about the suggestive glances he was giving her now, that differed from the ones before. All the same it made her smile, as her gaze matched his for a brief moment before he turned towards the opened door, to usher her in with a gentle hand against her back. Taking a step through the open entry way, it was obvious that her assumptions about him had been correct. Coming from a smaller southern town where the majority of its people were middle to lower middle class, stepping into Cooper's apartment was like stepping inside the pages of one of those fancy rental magazines that showcased the top rentals in each major city. Needless to say, she was impressed; her eyes scanning over the set up of what she could see thus far, of his apartment. "This is how I know I'm not in Kansas anymore. And thank god for that," she smiled up at Cooper, paying him a compliment as she took a few steps past him, and further into his apartment. "I don't know how old you are, but whatever career path you've managed to get yourself on, keep it up, because it seems to be working very well for you."

Following her into the house, he pushed the door closed behind them and locked it on force of habit. In the business his family had grown up in, coupled with the things he'd dealt with overseas, it was a reflex of his to close and lock doors, as if a lock would keep out anything that might threaten him or the ones he might have in his home. He chuckled a little as he shrugged out of his jacket, shaking his head a little at her comment. "Yeah well, I've never been to Kansas, but I thank you all the same." He said, smiling a little as he watched her. His hands were already itching to touch her, but for the moment he busied himself with hanging his jacket on a peg on the wall.

"Family business tends to leave everybody very well taken care of." He said, shrugging just a bit before he walked toward her. Probably best to steer conversation away from what he did. Sliding up behind her, he smoothed his hands down her arms, his lips again finding her skin and pressing to the nape of her neck. "Can I get you anything?" He murmured, not at all caring to pull away from her just yet.

Mikaela smiled up at Cooper, narrowing her eyes at him playfully as she brushed past him, making sure to give him a good nudge against his shoulder in passing. "Yes well, I've never been to Kansas either, but it's pretty obvious that this is much closer to Oz." Turning on her heels, she made her way further into his home, admiring the set up of his apartment along the way. Turning to glance over her shoulder once he began to speak again, she stopped in her tracks as he casually made his way towards her; immediately bringing his hands to rest against her arms as he drew closer to her. His hands were warm, and somewhat comforting to Mikaela after just having come out of the cool night air. Tilting her head to the side, giving him easier access to her neck, a subtle smile formed against her lips as she hesitated to respond to him; loving the feeling of his lips pressed against her skin too much to interrupt his kiss by speaking. "I think I'm good," she finally breathed through a heavy sigh as her hands tugged lightly at his shirt. "A tour might be nice though," she spoke softly before finally pulling back to reveal the smile she wore.

He chuckled and rubbed the palm of his hand over his shoulder, more just touching the place that she had touched rather than her actually having hurt him. "Well I'm the only wizard you'll find in here. No screaming green mirage or anything, I promise." He said, smirking a bit as he smoothed his hands down over her hips. His lips continued to drag over her skin, his body getting worked up all over again at her close proximity.

He huffed a little sigh when she pulled away from him and tugged at his shirt. "Alright." He said, giving her a little look before he moved his hand to slide to the small of her back. He led her from the foyer there and into the living room. "Main room..." He said, gesturing a hand out in a bit of a mocking fashion. He had his toys to be sure, the flat screen TV, several gaming systems and surround sound to boot. He tended to like loud noise that he controlled, it was comforting, which most might find odd. "Kitchen." He said, tugging her into the other room. The upstairs of his loft apartment held nothing but his bedroom and a bathroom, so in his eyes the sooner he finished with the downstairs, the sooner he'd have reason to take her upstairs.
