"Good to see you too, Lydia." Sam smiled. He held up the water bottle he had been sipping away at for a while, to show her he was taking care of himself. He took a sip, then focused his attention on Cas for a moment.
"She's told me some things yeah." Sam nodded. "When I met her I asked her if she was an angel. I was in bad shape, she found me even though I couldn't tell her where I was." Sam glanced at Lydia and nodded. "She helped me get back inside, and I'm not sure I could have managed it on my own right then." He tapped his temple, and followed through with a hand in his hair.
In his mind, Lucifer had taken up a cross legged stance, leaning against the wall behind Cas. Interesting, Sam thought, that he seemed to be somewhat intimidated just then, like he was slinking off to the shadows, but keeping a watchful eye on things. But Sam cleared his throat and shifted his focus back to Lydia and Cas, because he tried to ignore Lucifer as much as he could. Acknowledging him even in the slightest way usually just encouraged him to be more annoying.
