Note to Professor Mathers from Paul Pettigrew, 17 September, 1942 |
[03.12.08|03:59] |
Professor Mathers,
I thought perhaps I would send you this note just in case you have not heard about Miss Juliana Leffoy. Word has come to me that she either is or was a collaborator with the enemy. I am sure a personage of your standing may indeed already know of this and are working to sort matters out, but it occurred to me with the way the Leffoy's work at times it may not have been revealed to the Academy when she came here about her history. If indeed you find all is well, then so be it. However, I would be remiss if I did not bring it to your attention.
Also, it pains me to mention this, but at last night's drill -- which went dreadful, if I may be so bold -- Miss Valeria Malaspina and Mr Tom Forrester were spotted in an appalling state of undress. In front of the firsties and everything. It is no wonder we cannot get students to behave rationally for the drill if the Prefects themselves cannot be bothered to obey the rules.
As always, your ever vigilant servant,
Paul Pettigrew 5th year Prefect for Caerleon College |
