Dearest Bella,
Now we are even when it comes to belated letters! Life at the Academy is awful. Looking back on things, I shouldn't have gone into town, and I certainly shouldn't have gone to that party. But how was I supposed to know that there was a demon on the loose? Or that there would be a fire, or that someone would die?
Liane is here, although I suppose you knew that already. Colette doesn't like her one bit. In fact, she accused Liane of being a collaborator! I don't believe it, of course, and fortunately for Liane, neither does anyone else. Valeria is also here. She doesn't strike me as much of an Avalon girl, though, and she went after Forrester, of all people. Even more odd, he seemed to notice!

P.S. Oh dear. I meant to send this yesterday after tea, and I managed to leave it in the Snake Pit. But I can add to it: we had a drill last night, and it was terrible. People didn't have the slightest idea what to do. And Valeria and Forrester arrived together, their clothes in disarray. I suppose she did get him, after all. |
