Leffoy came back to school yesterday and so did the rest of his family, but you weren’t with them this time, either. I suppose they’re not going to let you come back. I hope it’s not because they’ve decided servant girls don’t need to go to school, because I know you wanted more from your life than that. Lady Leffoy promised me you could do whatever you want when you were older, but I’m worried about how hard that might be if you don’t go to school. I miss you.

You might want to ask a different person to post your next letter. Whoever posted this one didn’t really want me to be able to open it, but I’m not the type to be deterred by a little hex.

Don’t worry about any parties. Do you really think anyone is inviting me to parties? Needles to say, I didn’t go to whatever party it was you were worried about.

I hope you can come back to school soon.
