I’m sorry about Pippa. There’s not much more to say, is there? I can’t imagine how awful you must feel. We’ll all miss her. You’re not alone in that.
This is self-centred, but I’m also sorry the last thing I said to you about her was that she wasn’t worthy of you. It didn’t come out the way I meant it to. In your shoes I probably would have punched me, the door slamming was more than warranted.
Mum and Dad told you were chosen for the Inquisitorial Squad, that it’s an important job. They might never say it out loud, but they’re proud of you. Me too, of course. It’s good somebody in charge finally noticed how amazing you are. Only took seven years, that’s like a minute and a half in Hogwarts time. Just stay safe, okay? Don’t make that face, there’s a difference between me doing things I know are dumb and you being in real danger.
