Dear Poppy:

Apparently Isaac Diggory was completely unaware that his ward, Bilius Lovegood, was removed from St Mungo's against medical advice. He will be writing to you soon and may come down to Hogwarts as early as today to bring the boy back to St Mungo's for further treatment.

It's my understanding that Bilius' recovery may be less complete than his father led Albus Dumbledore to believe when he permitted the boy to return to school. Corinne was in charge of his case; I'll speak to her when about this when she's finished with clinic this morning. Yvon consulted, and I'd like to know what he thinks, but he's too ill to work right now, so it will have to wait.

At any rate I would not assume the boy is not contagious. Make sure you have all the requisite potions and treatments at hand should his infection spread, and bring him into the infirmary at once until Mr Diggory comes for him.

Should an outbreak occur, Miss Watkins, of your apprentices, has the most experience in dealing with this illness--I believe she told me that several members of her family have suffered with it. Let me know when the boy's father comes for him.
