Just whistle while you work Who: Otter and Oz Where: Snow White Sweets When: Late morning
The thing about being part of a family that owned their own business was that when they needed to do something big the whole family got drug in. Like when one of the windows had been busted by a demon or something and they the store had been raided so now it was just a huge mess. Otter wasn't happy that he needed to spend his day sweeping up glass and reorganizing the shelves. The only thing that made up for him having to be there was that everyone else had to be too. Except for Delsin since he was still too young to work, and Fala'd wormed her way out by saying that she'd sprained her knee. Otter was willing to bet a whole paycheck that that wasn't true. What she had really done was develop an allergy to good, hard work. No one could even pretend to be surprised though. Otters liked playing more than working and because of that Otter was pretty sure he had the best work ethic out of the whole family. Except his mom. Couldn't beat Mrs. Snow when it came to working ever.
"Hey, Oz," Otter called when he came across a problem. That problem happened to involve something big and heavy in his way. Couldn't sweep the whole floor when there as a cabinet in the way. "Come move this for me, man." Liseli was right there and could've done it just as easy, yeah, but Otter automatically thought of his brother since he was the biggest. And despite having grown up in a family full of weres he still didn't just want to ask one of his sisters. It wasn't chauvinistic... it just was. He blamed it all on Oz.
