I'm not in my home Who: Maurynna and Rhys Where: Checking out Scarlet Oak When: Noontime
Maurynna felt it the second it happened. Shit, if there was a fae who didn't feel that, they were probably dead. The gates were opened. Opened. This was a new line of 'what the fuck' that even she didn't think would happen in her lifetime. She expected the nobles to send her out to the human realm. What she didn't expect was Rhys to tag along with her. The little dragonfly, who called himself Zephyr, that seemed so keen on following her around was actually less of a pain at this point.
Meestress! Meestress! Zephyr buzzed about her head while she perched in a nearby tree. What are you doing?! Don't you know zat zee humans might look and stare at you for being up here? "Then let them stare," she replied calmly, swinging her legs about while staying in her 'human' form. Besides, what was so wrong with sitting in a tree? She did it all the time in the Fair Realm. It couldn't possibly be that much of an odd thing now. At least she made sure to glamour both her longbow and spear out of sight from the humans. No need to seem like a threat, especially when she wasn't.
She heard a few cries in the distance, possibly a reaction to the demons that seemed to be running about. Or at least that's what she overheard from a couple humans passing by. Both Hell and the Fair Realm open. Hmmmm... "I wonder if this means the angels are flying about somewhere, too," she looked over her shoulder to spot Rhys. Hopefully he wasn't making THAT much of an idiot out of himself. "And if that hatred still brews between them." She sighed at the thought. "I would have grown bored with that much animosity after a hundred years."
