And I knew somehow I would find my way back
Who: Cael and Viuly
Where: The Owl’s Nest for starters
When: Evening
Warning: NSFW
To make up for her lost time the night before - and for the record, it was worth it - Viuly went into work early to help around the restaurant. As always, the redhead never half-assed a single thing she did and thus was let out early, much to her surprise. She had plans to go out with a bunch of friends that night: hit up a club, order a couple rounds of shots, and dance until they passed out. Since Viuly was never the designated driver, she had to wait to be picked up. The only part that sucked was waiting outside The Owl’s Nest, and an impatient fire elemental was never a good thing.
With a sigh, she ashed her cigarette and brought it to her lips for a long drag. It was then that she felt a couple drops of rain hit her cheek. “Jesus Christ... really?” She pressed her back to the wall in hopes to avoid the rain and was really ticked off as the fact she had opted to wear a white top for the evening. With a roll of her eyes, she finished off her cigarette and flicked it to the side. Damn friends had to be there soon or else they’d have to deal with an impatient and furious fire elemental.
When he’d found Detroit void of anyone he knew or cared to see, Cael went straight for Scarlet Oak. The original plan was to track down his family, but with Vuily so close all they got was a phone call while he went to find her in person. They could wait, and would wait, until afterwards. His first stop had been her parent’s house, since he didn’t know where else to look to find her. Zazriel had pointed him towards The Owl’s Nest and he’d gone straight there without question. And as he pulled up, he saw her. Waiting there, as if she’d been waiting for him for years. Annoyed that he was late, that it had taken him so long to get there. Cael ran his fingers through his hair, freshly cut since he returned home, took a deep breath, and then climbed out of the car. The black corvette had been waiting for him, in perfect condition since he’d left. He wondered if he should credit that to his father or his sister; neither seemed likely, but anything was possible. As he shut the door, he made a bee-line for Viuly, eyes intent and focused solely on her.
Viuly didn’t recognize the corvette at first, merely staring out into space and lost in her own world. It wasn’t until she heard a door slam shut that she brought her attention on over to the vehicle. It looked familiar... She recalled when Cael used to take her for rides in his own car, one that was similar to this one. Then she made eyes with the man coming towards her, not recognizing him from a distance. Her initial thought was that Leon had decided to cut his hair off and steal his brother’s car to- Wait... they NEVER touched each other’s things. Ever. They might have had a rough relationship, but there was still an odd sense of respect between them. And in that realization, she found out that it was Cael’s car and that this wasn’t Leon walking over to her - it was Cael himself. Initially, Viuly was convinced this was an illusion or perhaps a hallucination and couldn’t but stare. The tenseness always present in her face slipped away as shock and awe replaced it. Words were completely lost to her, merely parting her lips, trying hard not to let those tears that were prickling behind her eyes come out.
For the moment, Cael’s thoughts were his own, and he didn’t know if it was a blessing or a curse. He didn’t want the distraction of other people’s thoughts, but it would be nice to know what was going on behind those beautiful eyes of hers. Rather than sit and guess, he followed his instinct and did what he’d been waiting to do for years. Cael walked right up to her, slid an arm around her waist and kissed her. Maybe she’d moved on without him, but he wouldn’t wait to find out without kissing her first. The feel of her against him, the scent of her hair and the taste of her lips-- this was what had gotten him through the war, coming home to the woman he loved. It was almost like she was waiting right where he left her, but he knew that was never the case. So much could have happened while he was gone, so much that they had to catch up on as soon as he took a break for air.
Had some random guy on the streets pulled a stunt like this, she would have lit his ass on fire and watched the fucker suffer. Though she just remained frozen as Cael approached her, finally back in his arms, finally sharing a kiss with him. Now Viuly couldn’t help it - she really was crying now. And she never cried. She refused to break the kiss, slipping her arms around his body to cling onto him. This was real. All of it. He’s alive... he’s here. A few more nips at his lips and Viuly finally pulled away to sniffle, turning her face away from Cael as tears rolled down her eyes. It was definitely him - his lips felt different from Leon’s and she could instantly tell. “...you’re back,” she chocked on her words softly. She just wanted to hear him say something. Anything. It had been way too long.
The last thing he wanted was to make her cry, but Cael had the feeling that it couldn’t be helped in this situation. If he’d have come home sooner, he would have, and it certainly didn’t help that he’d been pronounced dead. As she broke the kiss, his arms tightened around her, unwilling to let her go quite so easily. “Sorry to keep you waiting,” he said, a tiny smile on his lips. “I missed you.” Words couldn’t even begin to capture how he’d longed to come back to her, but they would have to do for now. Showing her how much he missed her would take a little more privacy-- not much, granted, but against the front door of The Owl’s Nest was a little too risque for him.
Viuly nuzzled into his body, feeling his heart beat while he spoke. Being able to hear him after all these years was a Godsend. There were subtle differences between him and his twin, ones that Viuly could tell in an instant. Cael’s voice was calmer, more affectionate. It brought out a softer side to Viuly, something Leon could never do. Tilting her head back to look up at him, she bit her lower lip before speaking. “I... thought you were dead. I had fucking officers come to the door step and tell me you were gone. I just wanted you to come back. I couldn’t live my stupid life without you here. Everything just falls apart.” And that was pretty much the truth, seeing she had gone back to her old ways of drinking and partying. Cael was the only one who softened her and she needed that to keep her head above water, both for her own sake and Liam’s sake. And that was something else she’d have to reveal to Cael, though right now she was too hung up on the present. “Don’t leave. I can’t have you leave ever again. I don’t know what I’d do.”
It broke him to hear her so hurt, to know that he’d been the one to make her suffer, even inadvertently. Cael swore to himself that he’d never do so again, no matter what the cost. It wasn’t worth it. If he was honest with himself, he’d admit it wasn’t just for her. The threat of losing her had almost broken him as well. “I thought I was too,” he said, gently stroking her face with one finger. “I thought of you every day, swore I would kiss you at least once more. That was enough to keep me going.” His arms finally loosened around her as Cael pulled back enough to look in her eyes. “I’m not going anywhere, I swear.” He was on leave until further notice, and even after that he didn’t think they’d send him overseas again, definitely not into a similar situation. He’d been lucky enough to walk away once. He didn’t want to try for twice. “So who were you waiting for before I pulled up?” he asked with a little smirk. “Hope they don’t mind me stealing you away.”
His finger against her face was beyond soothing, closing her eyes to nuzzle into his hand lightly before looking back at him. She knew that anything he ever said was the truth. Cael wasn’t the kind of guy who would spread lies. And because of that she loved him. Taking his hand into her own, she kissed his palm sweetly, lingering against his skin before sniffling once more and rubbing her eyes. “Just some friends. We were going to go out, but-” She shook her head, instantly whipping out her cellphone to shoot a quick text to them - can’t go tonight. long story <3 Tossing it back into her back, she looked back to Cael, hoping she didn’t ruin her make up and now look like shit. “You can steal me if you want. Not sure where you want to go. Not much is opened this late.” She paused and ran her fingers through her hair shyly. “...maybe go back to my place, have some coffee? Catch up?” It was definitely more intimate and private and there was no denying that burning sensation in her body that was yearning for him.
He hoped they didn’t mind because it was happening, like it or not. Any good friend would appreciate the situation and forgive instantly. He’d make it up to her by taking her out some other night, but tonight he wanted the intimacy that could only be had when they were alone together. “We can go to your place,” he agreed, smiling at the hint of nervousness in her gestures. He wondered what it was about him that made her nervous, though he suspected it had something to do with the time they’d spent apart. His hand slipped down into her own as he began to lead her back towards his car. “Where are you staying now?” He hated to ask, since she’d been staying with him up till he had to leave. His disappearance had probably made that situation a bit more sticky that he liked. If they’d been married, she would have received the benefits of being his wife, but instead she’d been left with nothing. That was something he hoped to change. “We have a lot of catching up to do.”
Hey now, he should have been happy she was acting this way instead of punching him in the face, like she had done with his brother. Then again, Leon was always the more obnoxious one of the two. Put him and another fire elemental together, like Viuly, and something bad was bound to happen. With an earth? Not nearly close. He was her rock and she was his flame. It was a perfect match, even if she found herself longing for his twin on and off. “I’m back at my father’s place,” Viuly admitted, sniffling for the last time as she came up to the corvette. “...it was hard living by myself at your place. Plus dad’s health has been declining and he needs someone to look after him that isn’t my brat sister.” Like she’d ever trust Lumi to cook something for their dad. Stupid girl would fuck it all up. She didn’t mention the fact that it was mostly due to her having a child - his child - and she needed help raising him. Viuly opted to put that off for now, knowing she’d rather show him in person and see his reaction then. “So.. yeah. Story of my life in a nutshell.” There was a slight snort along with a roll of her eyes as she slipped into the car, finding herself shaking as she did so. Having Cael around was immensely surreal. This has to be a dream.
If there was one place Cael hadn’t wanted Viuly to end up, it was back at her father’s house. It was something he was determined to change as soon as it felt right to do so. He was still finding his footing with her, hoping they would pick up right where they felt off, but not wanting to assume anything. “I guess they sold my place,” he said as he opened the door for her. It wasn’t something he’d thought a lot about. His focus had been on getting back to her, not finding out about the state of his property. His car had been back in Detroit, at his parent’s house, the keys right where he’d left them. “Once I get set up again, we can see about getting you out of there.” If that was what she wanted, though he couldn’t imagine why not. Her father and sister hadn’t exactly done right by her. Cael just wanted her some place where she felt safe, where the people around her weren’t dragging her down. As he slid into the driver’s seat, Cael looked over at her, trying to gauge her emotions and thoughts. Now it would be nice to know what she was thinking. “You know you’re always welcome to stay with me.” It really wasn’t home without her.
Well then, that didn’t make Viuly torn at all. Nope. Had her father always treated her bad? No doubt, but the fact he needed help with his health made Viuly rush and cling to his side. She wanted to prove she was a good daughter after all. And while moving in with Cael sounded great, she knew that Leon would be there at the vacation house. ...awkward... Now was not the time to be feeling split between the twins. She cared for them both... why couldn’t she have both. Viuly simply blinked and did her best to smile at Cael, rather liking the way those eyes of his looked at her. “You’re too sweet, Cael. Seriously.” She averted her gaze to tuck some red hair behind an ear. “I almost forgot what it was like to have someone like you around.”
There was something on her mind, something that caused her to look away. Was it embarrassment? It couldn’t be, as she’d been living with him before he’d left. Maybe she really had reconciled with her father, in which case he’d jumped to the wrong conclusion. Damn. Rather that sit and second guess himself, he reached between the seats and took her hand, squeezing once before he had to let go to drive. Stick shift cars were so much better for speed, but didn’t allow for keeping contact with her at the same time. “I just want to see you happy,” he said, starting off towards her parent’s house. “I guess I should get settled in first. I haven’t even seen my parents yet.”
Viuly smiled a bit more when Cael squeezed her hand, rather liking the contact until he let go. She didn’t realize how much she needed him by her. Just being touched was enough to flare up her inner fire. Saying no to attention was something Viuly could never do. She craved for it and the second someone gave her that, she yearned for me. “I bet they miss you,” she commented softly, still staring at him. God, he’s still handsome. Then she reached out to touch his thigh, her hand lingering for a second before gently rubbing at him. “I know I missed you.”
Dammit. She could still get to him with just a touch, pull a fire out of him that otherwise laid dormant. No other woman could get to Cael the way that Viuly did, and when she did it always seemed like she knew just what to do. As far as he knew, only one of them was a mind reader, but he never would have guessed it. She was just perfect, beautiful and alluring, sex on legs, and he had her in his car when he’d rather have her in his bed. Cael drove faster, trying to keep in mind that traffic laws were there for a reason. “They can wait,” he said, looking over at her as he rested his hand over hers, encouraging the touch that was driving him mad.
A hint of blush brushed over her cheeks as he spoke, chewing at her lower lip slightly before rubbing into his thigh. She had always been the tease since day one, driving boys absolutely insane with her seductive ways until they couldn’t stand it even more. It made her beam knowing that she could still get under Cael’s skin like that, even for a patient earth elemental. She couldn’t imagine going for so long with out sex in the Middle East and she wondered how often he thought about her. She did send pictures out for a reason. For a second, she wondered what exactly happened out in the Middle East and what took him so long, but Viuly was focused on other things, like teasing the crap out of Cael. That hand of hers didn’t stop, massaging into his leg and slowly traveling up. Letting out a gentle sigh, she watched the surroundings whiz on by as he kept driving. “Are we there yet?”
Cael shuddered, his eyes falling shut for just a moment before he forced them open. The house wasn’t far away, but it was definitely too far right now, when pulling over to the side of the road seemed a definite possibility. It was dark, they might not get caught, but it wasn’t worth the risk. Besides, there was no guarantee that she wanted him like that-- who was he kidding, really? She was seducing him and doing a damn good job. “Vi... I didn’t come this far to get in a wreck before making it to your house,” he said with a little smirk. Were they there yet? No, but very soon they would be, even sooner if he’d break a few laws. But this was Cael driving. Speeding was his worst offense and that was only when he was sure he wouldn’t get caught.
Her lips smirked a little in response to his words. She can sense his inner fire and knew that it desperately needed this. Hell, she had been needing this. Not just sex with any guy, but with Cael. There was just something about him that made it different from all her past experiences. Maybe because you love him. And she waited impatiently as they continued to drive, perking up the moment she spotted her house. “We’re here,” she smiled gently, parting from him so she could slip out of the car. Viuly searched for her keys and pulled them out with her telekinesis and proceeded to the door. The lights were out, which could only mean her dad finally crashed along with Liam. After opening the door, she flicked the lights on and poked around. “Hello?”
She was greeted with a yawn in her head, followed by a meow as she spotted Mittens lazily padding his way on over to her. I didn’t expect you to be coming home until 3am, Vi, her familiar spoke, obviously just waking up. This isn’t like you to walk away from- OH! His eyes lit up as he spotted the man behind her. Well well well! Who is this? Rather shy at the fact her familiar was being all curious, she scooped Mittens up in her arms, letting him purr up a storm. “Mittens, this is Cael. He...” She hesitated, licking her lower lip while struggling with words. “He just came back from the Middle East. He came back for me.” Really now? Well then! It’s a pleasure to meet you, Cael.
The voice that greeted them was completely unfamiliar to Cael and it’s source came as a shock. There were still a number of things that he’d missed while in captivity and familiars were one of them. Talking cats? Definitely new. Cael moved closer, surprise written across his face as he looked back at Mittens, thrown off his game. “Nice to meet you, too... Mittens.” He cast a look at Viuly as he gave into confusion. “Do all animals talk now?” He had fully intended to follow her straight into her bedroom, but the idea of Mittens being there was now ten times as awkward. Mittens needed to... go to bed. Elsewhere.
It never occurred to Viuly that perhaps Cael wasn’t up to speed with things like familiars. Blinking at Cael, she scratched Mittens behind the ears, then replied, “Um... not really. Just familiars. They came to those who were elementals and witches over a month ago. Mittens is mine.” She snuggled with the tuxedo cat for a moment before looking back to Cael. “You should be getting one. You’re far along with your element, anyways.” And then Mittens managed to catch that lingering thought in his mistress’ mind - that she wanted nothing but to be in Cael’s arms. Well then, looked like he would have to bow out of this one. Well, as much as I’d love to stick around, I’ll let you two enjoy the rest of the night. Nice meeting you! He slipped out from Viuly’s arms and trotted on off to find a new place to crash for the night. With that out of the way, Viuly chewed nervously at her lower lip and closed the door behind Cael. “So, um.... yeah, welcome to my house.”
Cael reached out to scratch the top of Mitten’s head, still somewhat amazed by the phenomenon. He knew that he’d missed a number of big news items, but all that mattered to him upon his return was getting back to Viuly. Maybe once they caught up he’d look into everything he missed. “Maybe mine just hasn’t gotten to me yet. I wasn’t exactly easy to find.” When he finally had been found, it wasn’t even on purpose. The army had stumbled across him during an attack and saved his ass, thank God. “Nice to meet you, too,” he said, smiling as Mittens wandered off. With the cat gone, his attention turned back to Viuly, heart immediately quickening as she began to chew on her lip. He loved that he could make her nervous, since almost no other guy did. “Thanks,” he said, stepping closer, slowly pushing her back and pinning her to the door. His lips grazed hers with a soft kiss, then moved up to her ear to whisper. “Think we can go some place a bit more private?”
Having her back against the wall with Cael crushing her body like that made Viuly remember the night when he first had her, pinning her against her bedroom door. Her breath hitched while running her hands across his chest, just wanting to finally share this moment with him. The time spent with Leon the other day were gone from her mind for the time being. He had no idea how much she missed Cael and longed for this. “I take it coffee is out of the question?” She giggled while teasing him. Slipping out of his embrace, Viuly curled her fingers at him with a ‘come hither’ look. She walked on through the kitchen, up the stairs and quietly reached her room at the end of the hallway. Opening the door for the two of them, she spun on her heels and eyed Cael. “Will this work?”
“Coffee can wait,” he snickered, letting her go only to follow her through the dark house. Instinct said that people were sleeping behind closed doors, but that didn’t bother him. To his knowledge, there was no one else there that he gave a shit about-- Lumi and Zazriel weren’t exactly his favorite people. With only Viuly on his mind, he shut her bedroom door behind them then slowly made his way towards her. “Perfect,” he said, kissing her passionately before breaking a smile. “I’d have been fine with the kitchen table, but it wouldn’t be too comfortable afterwards.” He planned on staying through the night and waking up next to her in the morning. Breakfast might be awkward if they kept to the kitchen.
Viuly just chuckled at his words, slinking her arms around his neck. “Kinky,” she commented. “Seems like being away for so long has planted some pretty dirty thoughts in your head.” She lowered her head, brushing her lips over his neck with a light moan. “I liked to think that you kept yourself busy with all the pictures I sent you.” Even if they were simply ones with her all dressed up, nothing overly sexual, she liked the thought of Cael having them when he missed her. A hand came down to the edge of his pants, teasing him as she traced the material, wanting to see how far she could push him. It was always a fun game.
“I had a lot of time to fantasize,” he said, his smile amused, but just a tiny bit shy. “I had your pictures, and then I had my memories.” There was a lot they’d never done, a lot Cael wanted to do now that he’d been given the opportunity. His hand slid up her back, under the thin material of her top, as she began to tease along his pants. Once upon a time he’d been able to hold out for quite a while, but that was when he was getting laid on a regular basis. It had been four long years and now even the slightest bit of teasing got a reaction out of him.
Moaning into his neck, she felt her body burning up as he ran a hand over her skin. God, she wanted him so badly. She was torn between teasing him forever to just laying on the bed and begging for him to take her. She couldn’t imagine spending four years without being intimate. Viuly would definitely do her best to make sure the wait was worth it. “Did you now?” Her lips came up to his ear, licking along the edges while slowly undoing his belt. “Anything in particular?” Funny how in the beginning she never pegged Cael as the kinky type, but after spending more time with him, that ideal quickly slipped away.
Viuly was something that his captors hadn’t been able to touch, a host of memories that got him through the worst of nights. When he’d been broken down to nothing, Cael would let his mind go to her, a comforting presence as he faded into the darkness. Now that he had her back, he couldn’t get enough of her and he didn’t know where to begin. There were kinky thoughts, yes, but he wasn’t really in the mood for them. Those could wait until tomorrow. “You, with your legs wrapped around me, screaming my name as you came,” he whispered, fingers sliding under her bra, feeling the lace. He couldn’t wait to see it, and didn’t, pulling her tank top up over her head before capturing her lips once more.
To hear Cael say those words brought a pleasant chill to Viuly’s body, rather enjoying that mental image as he stripped her. She moaned into his lips, sucking at his lower lip as she finally undid his belt. Ok, now even she was growing impatient. They had the whole night to be lost in each other. No need to hold back now. “God, I missed you so much,” she groaned into him, not wanting his hands to part from her anytime soon. Then her hand tugged at the zipper that got in the way, eagerly pressing her hand against his crotch for a moment before sliding it into his pants. Yes, she definitely missed this and it seemed like he did, too.
“Missed you too,” he murmured as one hand came around to cup her breast. He squeezed gently before pulling the sheer material of her bra aside, longing for the feel of bare skin in his hands. While his mouth stayed on hers, he swore to himself that he’d taste more of her just as soon as she was wearing less. It meant doing away with her bra, sexy as it was, and hurrying down to address her pants. Cael groaned, his hands stalling in their quest as her fingers wrapped around him. He’d been half hard since she’d teased him in the car and now there was no denying how much he wanted her. He pushed back into her touch, tugging at the button on her jeans, then the zipper. As much as he wanted to take it slow, there was no way that was going to happen tonight.
She was actually enjoying how eager Cael was to get straight to the point. All those years must have put quite the strain on him and she couldn’t help but imagine how he’d treat her once they finally got to her bed. She didn’t care how rough he was or how long it last, just as long as she could be with him like this. They both waited for too long. Viuly didn’t stop stroking Cael, her hand keeping a steady pace with tight squeezes on and off. She wanted to drive him up a wall, wanting him to not help himself but just pin her down and take her. “I need you so bad,” she whimpered for him, panting lightly while waiting for him to undress her faster.
Cael completely agreed, though right now he was beyond vocalizing his thoughts. Saying that he needed her felt like the understatement of the century and he was close to tearing her jeans in an effort to get there. As soon as they were over her hips, Cael was moving them towards the bed, kicking off his pants in the process, then breaking his hold on her long enough to pull off his shirt. It was the fastest he’d stripped in as long as he could remember, but he hadn’t had Viuly waiting for him either. While his fantasies about his return to her had always been of making love to her slow and sweet, in reality he didn’t have the patience to slow down. He needed her, desperately so, and as he pushed her back onto the bed, he hoped she didn’t mind. Looking down at her, he slid her jeans and underwear the rest of the way off, his eyes taking in the beauty of her body. “God, you’re beautiful,” he whispered before leaning over to kiss her, his hands on her hips as he thrust inside her.
With his shirt out of the way, Viuly couldn’t help but stare. While he and his brother were identical, save for a few unique scars, Cael was the one with the more recent military work, and damn, did it show. And people wondered why she went for the bad ass guys with the guns, no pun intended. Before she could even reach out and touch him, she found herself on her back with Cael looming above her. To be honest, Viuly wasn’t sure what to expect from him when he came back. Just as long as it involved him, she honestly didn’t care. His words made her blush and before she had a chance to reply, her back arched, her breath hitched and an erotic cry gushed out of her lips. “Fuck,” she eventually whimpered, clinging onto Cael while trying hard to return that kiss. Easier said than done when she was constantly moaning and shaking from finally having him inside of her again. Fuck, I forgot how good he was.
Maybe he was a little carried away, but he was guessing from her response that she didn’t really care. Cael felt live like he hadn’t felt in years, finally back where he was meant to be, with Viuly. Her voice sent shivers up his spine, her touch driving him to move faster, feel more of her than he already was. When kissing became difficult, his mouth moved down to her neck, one hand cupping her breast as his teeth grazed her skin. His thumb moved over her pierced nipple, teasing it before his mouth followed. Every little noise she made urged him on and he thought that soon he’d have to slow down. Cael wanted this to last and with the pace they were going he’d be done in minutes.
Like Viuly actually cared if he got carried away or not. Viuly was enjoying herself way too much right about then. She was damn certain that she could wake up the neighbors with how loud she was being, let alone her father and Lumi. This was exactly what she wanted after years of waiting. All these years and she thought he was dead. Now he proved her wrong and she could finally be back in his arms. Leon wasn’t even a blip on her radar and instead Cael possessed every inch of her mind, her body, everything. With each pleasurable action, Viuly was there to gasp sharply, moan words of encouragement. Her legs wrapped around his body, keeping him close to her. She didn’t care if this was short lived - they did have entire damn night.
In all the years that he’d been gone, Cael had never been with anyone else. Granted, he didn’t have a lot of opportunity to do so, but that wasn’t the point-- the only one he wanted was Viuly and the plan had always been to come back home to her. He just didn’t realize it would be such a long wait, that his route would get side tracked and held up before he could return. Having all the years of waiting pile up on him made it so easy to lose control and Cael allowed himself that luxury in this instance. There was no caring about who might hear them, no holding back for fear of hurting her. She would speak up if she wasn’t enjoying it, and that clearly wasn’t an issue. Cael groaned, his body curling into hers, one arm sliding under her back to hold her closer and thrust harder. “Fuck, Vi. I...I love you.... so much.” He panted as his lips grazed across her neck, so close now and unable to turn back.
And regardless of how relentless he was to her body, he still had that romantic side to him. Hearing him confess his love to her just made her inner fire burst with joy. This was the attention she needed, what she always craved for. Tangling one hand up in his hair and the other clawing at his back, she nuzzled into his head, completely breathless. “I love you, Cael.” How she managed to utter those words was beyond her, but she did it. She wished she was far along as he was, though right then she didn’t mind. He deserved this and Viuly was more than happy to let him finally enjoy her after all those years of being apart.
He wanted to feel that she was as close as he was, to feel her body tremble beneath him as he came inside of her. She might not come with him, but he wouldn’t leave her without completion, that much was certain. As she uttered those words, Cael groaned and his arms tightened around her as he came. His hips continue to move, though not with the force of before, as his mouth found her own. There were no words to capture the joy he felt at being with her once more, so he didn’t even try. Instead, he let his hand slide down between her legs to tease her clit as he rocked gently against her.
Cael did a number on her just by getting off inside of her. That alone made Viuly let out a drawn-out moan. She cuddled against him, kissing him deeply with her tongue teasing his lips, and then she felt that hand stroking at her. Another gasp followed by a moan and Viuly was rocking hard into his hand. “God, you’re so fucking good at this,” she smirked into his lips. She wished she could return the favor somehow, but settled for kisses while clinging tightly onto his body. Every inch of her was on fire, wanting more of his touch while letting out constant, erotic moans for him.
It wouldn’t surprise him if he was hard in minutes with all the noises she was making and the way she moved against his hand. He had the feeling they’d be at this all night, worshiping each other’s bodies till they were both too tired to move. It was something to look forward to. “I love touching you,” he said, smirking back down at her. “It means I can watch. You’re so fucking hot when you come.” That was something he never forgot, the image burned into his mind. “Just wish I’d been patient enough to still be inside you,” he whispered, teeth nipping at her ear. He’d make it up to her. They had time.
Viuly turned her head to the side, biting on her lower lip while listening to him speak. A whimper slipped past her closed lips, dropping her arm to the bed to cling onto the sheets that lied beneath her. Her cheeks flushed even harder; though she would never admit it, Cael had a way of making her shy. He was so honest with how he felt about her. “You’re just saying that to flatter me,” Viuly gasped softly as she felt his hand hit her just right, squirming beneath him. “Though you know,” her gaze came back to face him, taking his lower lip into her mouth to suck on hard, “I’m all yours tonight.”
Cael took notice of her reaction, taking it as a cue as to what she enjoyed the most. “I’d never lie to you,” he said, and it was true in every instance, not just in flattery. It was a weakness he had, never being able to hide anything from her, though there weren’t many instances where he would want to. “I know,” Cael said, then kissed her deeply, enjoying every little chance he had to be closer to her. His fingers slid inside, moving at a steady rhythm as he continued to put pressure on her clit. There was nothing quite like having Viuly in the palm of his hand, the real thing always better than a memory.
She continued to rock into his hand, purring hard into his lips. “Don’t stop that,” she groaned, bringing a hand down to rest lightly against his. God, what she would give just to feel him back inside of her, maybe throwing her onto her stomach and pinning her to the bed. She was an immensely, insatiable fire elemental and he was a patient earth elemental. Such a perfect pair. She knew Cael wouldn’t stop until she passed out and she planned to do just that. And then her other hand began to wander, tracing his hips while giving him a devilish grin. “Not right that I’m the only one having all the fun.” With that said, Viuly brought had hand down further, stroking lightly into Cael in hopes to get him all riled up again.
There was something terribly erotic about having her hand cover his as he touched her, something that turned him on when he thought he’d have to wait longer to start again. It might have passed, but Viuly seemed just as determined as he was, and as her hand wrapped around him he moaned, biting his lip as his eyes fell closed. “Keep that up and I’ll roll you over,” he gasped, teeth scraping over her shoulder with a soft bite. “Take you from behind as I touch you. Would you like that?” The mental image plus her stroking hand had him hardening once more, eager to be inside her again. He’d have bent her over to begin with, but he’d wanted to see her face the first time, be able to kiss her and whisper words of love. Now that he had, he was game for anything and he couldn’t imagine a situation in which Viuly would turn him down.
Oh, that sounded like a splendid idea. Viuly kept on grinning, a sly chuckle escaping her. “You can use me however you like.” Because as long as it was him, it’d get her off, and then he’d still be there to cuddle with. And knowing that her touch was all it took to get herself in a situation like that, Viuly quickened her pace, jerking rapidly at his arousal while moaning against him. This ranked right up there with the first time they had each other, completely lost in the other and wanting nothing but to be caught up in ecstasy. They couldn’t get enough of this and Viuly wasn’t complaining one bit.
The more she stroked him, the harder it became for Cael to focus on getting her off. That might not be the point now, since he’d promised her more than his hand, but he still wanted her to enjoy it in the meantime. Cael moaned and shuddered, his hips eventually pushing back into her hand as she pulled him into full arousal. “Fuck yes,” Cael laughed softly, his fingers sliding out of her as he kissed her lips. “Roll over.” How he had the patience to ask rather than just push her in that direction Cael wasn’t sure, since he was ready once more and unwilling to wait.
Hearing a command like that made Viuly moan with approval. She loved getting him impatient like this. With a playful look in her eyes, she squirmed away from him to roll over onto her stomach, arching her back slightly as she looked over her shoulder to give him a seductive stare. Her body ached for his touch, wanting nothing but to feel him thrust back inside of her. “This better?” She purred while wriggling slightly, finding herself equally impatient as Cael. Viuly kept her eyes locked on his, that fire continuing to flicker within them.
It wasn’t right that anyone could be as beautiful and seductive as Viuly, and then Cael wondered how he’d been lucky enough to call her his own. There was no taming her fire, but he couldn’t bring himself to care, finding that to be one of the most attractive things about her. As her back arched, he ran the palm of his hand over the curve of her ass, moaning softly. “Perfect,” he smirked, letting his fingers slip down between her legs to dip inside her. As fun as it would be to tease her some more, he couldn’t wait, and crawled around to kneel behind her and replace his fingers with his cock.
She whimpered while feeling his fingers press into her, squirming some more as she quietly begged for more. Hell, she needed more. This wasn’t enough to satisfy her. And then she finally got her wish, tossing her head back while letting out a sharp yelp, beyond pleased with this course of action. Viuly couldn’t stop moaning, her lips remaining parted as she clung onto the bed sheets. Turning her head to look over her shoulder, she locked eyes with him, that look demanding more. And she knew he could do just that.
That look said everything, permission for him to let go, to plow into her with abandon and claim her as his. There were times when it took a lot more urging to get him to that point, but tonight he proceeded without hesitation. Cael’s hips slammed into her, his hands tight on her hips, holding her in place. He should have worried about bruising her, but he was far more focused on fucking her, a task that took his full, undivided attention. One hands reached around, tugging at her pierced nipple before sliding down between her legs. The noises she made were amazingly erotic, but he was willing to bet he could do better with just that touch.
God, she was absolutely loving this. Viuly was already immensely turned on when he was fingering her, but now with this? She couldn’t control a damn muscle in her body, twitching and shivering beneath. “Keep going,” she whimpered before crying out loud again and again. A hand released a clump of the bed sheets to reach behind her and cling onto Cael’s side, feeling him rock into her body and only arousing her more. This was exactly what she needed, her cries only getting louder with each passing second, knowing full well that she was going to spiral out of control any second.
It was nice to have permission, since Cael couldn’t have stopped if he’d wanted to. At this rate, she’d have him coming in no time, though only after he brought her there first. From the sounds of her moaning, Cael was certain she’d beat him, able to go longer this time around. He kept up just what he was doing, only moving a little harder once she reached around to hold onto him. It was amazing how the little things she did were such big turn ons for him, but he didn’t question it. As her cries got louder, Cael leaned over and kissed her shoulder, then bit her hard enough to leave teeth marks before nuzzling her neck. She always brought out the wild side in him, though now it seemed stronger than ever before.
That bite earned him a sharp hiss, followed by a hard groan. He could be so incredibly hot and kinky at times, almost like he was a fire elemental himself. And she loved how he could be so rough with her one second and then be nuzzling into her warm body. There were hints of romance in his actions, even if he was bruising her. Love bruises were always acceptable in her book. Only a couple more strokes and Viuly completely lost it, shrieking out into the dark room, not caring if she woke up anybody at this point. “Oh my god,” she chanted consistently, closing her eyes while relishing the ecstasy that was taking over her body. Her muscles spasmed around him, not wanting him to separate from her body while she continued to orgasm. And eventually she spiraled down from her high, gulp down immense breaths of air. “Fuck...” Her voice was breathless, wriggling beneath Cael trying not to pass out.
So much for lasting after she came-- there was no way Cael could experience Viuly in the throws of orgasm and not be pulled along with her, at least in this case. He felt her body tighten around his, heard her screams of ecstasy, and just let himself go. Why hold back? If the lady was done, then he might as well join her. Cael’s hips jerked and he gasped her name, caught off guard by the suddenness of it all, and then he was gasping for air. This was certain to be up their with their most memorable times together. The world continued to spin as he nuzzled her back, wanting to remain close to her but too spent to do much more. Maybe in an hour he’d be ready again, but now he wanted to rest.
A content purr vibrated off of Viuly lips, cuddling into Cael as her limbs wrapped around him. A break was definitely needed for now, plus now she could finally talk to him. Finally catch up. “I missed you so much, Cael,” she cooed for him, kissing his nose. “Mmm, I thought I’d never be able to share that with you again.” She was still convinced this was all a dream, though feeling his heart beating was reminding her that no, this was real. He was back and was hers. Maybe when she woke up next morning she would realize the clusterfuck that was her affection for Cael and Leon. Until then, she was Cael’s and only Cael’s. Nothing else mattered right now.
Cael curled on the bed, pulling her into his arms with a content sigh. This was exactly what he wanted right now, to share a moment of peace with the woman he loved. “I missed you too, Uly,” Cael muttered, his fingers lightly tracing along her side. “If I could have been here sooner, I would have. I swear.” He was never supposed to be gone that long, but he was never supposed to be captured and tortured by the enemy either. The assumption that he was dead had been a good one, considering the odds, but he’d been one lucky bastard. “I never thought I’d see you again. But the thought that maybe... you’d still be here... that kept me going.”
“Of course I’d still be here,” Viuly reassured Cael, nipping at his lips. “Why wouldn’t I? I still remember when the officers came to the front door and told me you were gone.” And then found out I was pregnant a week later. And that was another thing she had to tell him about - Liam. She wasn’t sure how Cael would handle that. Hopefully he’d be ecstatic, but she couldn’t help but let anxiety build up in her body. After a moment of silence, her eyes darted up to his shyly. “I... need to tell you something.” Her heart raced, trying to calm herself down, but instead squeezed onto him in anticipation.
“I’m sorry about that,” he said, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. “They didn’t know.” No one did. Not for four years. He couldn’t imagine what it must have felt like to get the news, only to have him walk up to her today. If he’d been in her place, it would have broken his heart, then knocked him off his feet. “You can tell me anything,” Cael said, looking down at her curiously. He detected a hint of nervousness, which in turn made him nervous. He hadn’t seen a ring on her finger, so there really wasn’t anything for him to worry about, but still... there could be everything at the same time.
Viuly took in a deep breath, closing her eyes while finding the courage to speak up. It took a while, but when she was ready, she opened her eyes and locked eyes with Cael. “... I had a son,” she murmured, her cheeks flushing lightly. Then a hand came up to rest on his cheek, her thumb stroking his face. “...our son.” And it crushed her to find out she was pregnant and not have Cael there to support her. She couldn’t do that on her own. She needed him to help her, to make her a better mother for Liam. And he would be the perfect father. There was no denying that.
Cael drew a deep breath, completely unprepared for the news that followed. “I have a son?” he said, his eyes lighting up as a smile broke out across his face. He felt like such a sap, but he was suddenly a proud parent without warning. It was something he’d hoped to someday share with Viuly, and even if he’d missed out on part of it, the fact that it was there at all was a blessing. “Oh, God, Vi, why didn’t you tell me? How old is he? What’s his name? Is he here?” Cael wanted to see him, but he wanted to stay snuggling with her at the same time. He thought back to the last time they’d been together-- the boy had to be at least three.
Well then, that answered the question of whether or not Cael would react well. That flicker in his eyes and the sensation of his inner fire flaring up was enough to reassure Viuly that he was happy. And in turn that made Viuly happy. Smiling lightly at him, she snuggled into Cael. “Well, it’s kinda hard to get a word in when you’re in the middle of being fucked,” she teased him with a small snicker. “His name is Liam and he’s a little over three... Looks exactly like you. Same eyes, same hair, and I’m pretty sure he picked up his father’s elemental affinity.” The kid loved being outside and adored animals. Definitely an earth. “And he’s here in the next room over. You can see him come morning. I think he would be overjoyed to know his daddy is back in his life.” It was hard enough telling him that daddy was ‘gone,’ too heart broken to tell the kid that Cael was dead, but now he was here. All was well.
“Yeah, I guess that would have been a bad time to break the news,” Cael said with a soft laugh. As happy as he was to have a son, it would have been a disturbing addition to the conversation about five minutes ago. “I can’t wait to meet him. Does he think I’m dead? Because I have no idea how to explain that to a toddler,” he said, biting his lip for a moment. “I’m sorry I wasn’t here for you before. Please know I would have done anything to be here.” To help her when she as pregnant, to see his son be born, to watch him take his first steps. He had so much to catch up on, as there was so much he’d missed. If he’d been home, so many things would have been different, but some were still possible. His mind was already turning, hoping to put things in place that should have been there long ago.
Viuly took in a deep breath, her eyes looking away from Cael’s for a moment. “Never really told him you were dead... just that you weren’t here. He didn’t seem to realize that he was suppose to have a father until a couple months ago. Came home and asked me why his friends had a mommy and daddy and he didn’t.” She remembered that day, extremely heartbroken to see those puppy dog eyes on his face. Then she nuzzled into Cael, purring softly. “I’m just glad you’re back. It’s... it’s been difficult, not going to lie. I don’t think I’m that great of a mom and I don’t think a single day went by without wishing you were here to help.” Viuly bumped noses with Cael, a little smile forming on her lips. “And now you are. I’m sure Liam will be enthralled.... I know I am.”
“At least it’ll be easier to introduce us,” Cael said, kissing the top of her head with a little smile. He still couldn’t believe he had a son! And he thought he’d been lucky to get Viuly back. “I wonder if he’ll recognize me...” Cael just hoped Liam wouldn’t be scared of him. He couldn’t imagine growing up without a father, even if his own was off his rocker. “I’m sure you’re a wonderful mother,” he said, hugging Viuly for emphasis. “And you’re right. I’m here now. You won’t ever have to do it alone again.” They would have had to pull Cael away from Viuly forcibly if they wanted him to leave, and now he die fighting in an effort to stay. There was too much in Scarlet Oak to live for.
The thought of her own mother came to Viuly’s mind and how much of a lovely person Lillian was. Viuly admired her almost as much as she admired her father. She was the sweet, kind, gentle soul that made for a perfect mother. And then she died and left Viuly in the care of her father... or the lack of care. He neglected her, abused her, yelled at her, did everything but loved her. She refused to let Liam experience that, even though Viuly was afraid that she would reflect that energy now and then. She had inherited Zazriel’s fire affinity and didn’t want Liam to relive what Viuly had relived. This was why she needed Cael more than ever. If not for herself, then for her son. Their son. “I hope so,” she whispered while clinging hard onto Cael. After nuzzling into his face, her lips barely brushed over his while murmuring, “I love you, Cael.”
“I love you, too,” he said, closing his eyes as he returned the light kiss. He would have to tell her that more often, just to remind her, to make sure she knew how much he meant it. He’d missed four years that they should have been together, years that he could never get back. And Liam... he would make it up to him. Settling in to sleep, at least for a while, Cael felt more at rest than he had in years. He was finally home, with the people he loved, and together maybe they could find peace.
