Tessa couldn't help it - a little shriek escaped her lips as she felt Naoki lift her up into his arms from behind. Everyone and their grandmother was able to pick her up, just because of how little she was. It wasn't fair! But then again, had it been anyone else besides Naoki, she would have had their ass on the ground in about three seconds flat. Not that she would time how long it took her or anything.
She turned in his arms to grin up at him, at least her friend seemed to be in a good mood. "Naoki! Holy crap, you almost scared me!" Almost being the key word here. "Nah, it's cool, I just got here a few minutes ago. Let's gooooo." Obviously excited and not bothering to hide it, Tessa took Naoki by the end and led him into the restaurant. It was obvious by her actions that this wasn't the lovey-dovey kind of hand holding, but the "bitch get your ass in gear" kind. Naoki needed to vent and Tessa needed to listen. Plus, she was hungry. All win-win in her book. "Hello," she told the hostess, "table for Kusanagi-Kennedy, please?"
