No one could change the earth elemental's mind when he'd made it up, Tessa knew that. She tried every once in a while, and sometimes for shits and giggles, but stubbornness was as much a part of Troy's nature as being reckless and impulsive was a part of Tessa's. He was her rock when times were good, but he didn't budge much when things were good, either. At least Troy had the dojo, doing something he loved with a passion that would envy a fire elemental.
"Probably," she said, shaking her head. "How about this, you tell me if Caelia's got a sister or something, and we'll set him up. If we both ask him, there'd be no way he'd be able to say no." In her head, it all worked out. Naoki was as much a brother to her as Troy was, and she wanted to see them both happy. If a girl did that, she was all for it.
